I saw this micellar water by NYX in one of their corners and I decided that I wouldn’t go out without it. I had a gift certificate and I desperately needed to use it.

The bottle is big and it’s made of see-through plastic.

The cap is flip-top and black.

The texture is transparent, watery and runny.

The aroma is neutral and barely there. The most important thing is that it isn’t irritating or chasing.

Weight - 400 ml

Price - $7.00

Made by L’Oreal, USA

The product suits all skin types.

At the end of the day, it always feels good to strip it off! Available in seven unique formulas, each one of our new Stripped Off Cleansers feature a refreshing scent and amazing feel. Stripped Off Micellar Water is a fresh feeling cleansing water that uses micelle molecules to pick up impurities and makeup from the skin.

So, the aim of the micellar water is to cleanse your skin from the impurities which means that you’ll still have to use a toner afterwards. Smile

How to use:

Soak a cotton round with this micellar water and gently swipe across your skin. Use as many cotton rounds as needed. Once you see that the cotton round remained clean, it would mean that your skin is absolutely free of gunk.

The number of cotton rounds totally depends on the makeup products you use and how “heavy” they are.

Let’s pass over to the test:

I decided to start off with three matte lipsticks by different brands and also one red lip gloss. These are the babes I use most of all.

Swatches:

I took two cotton rounds, I guess they’ll be enough. Here I have the swatches of pretty long-wearing products.

I swiped the first cotton pad soaked with the micellar water by NYX only ONCE.

Then I removed the leftovers with the second pad soaked with the same micellar water. And here’s the result:

  • My skin looks clean

  • And I’ve used only two cotton pads

And now let’s test the product out with two black eyeliners: they are both gel-like and one is street-end by Maybelline, while the other is much pricier by Chanel.

I applied the cheaper eyeliner with several layers (as I usually do in my makeup) and the more expensive product I applied with only one layer.

Again, I took two cotton rounds and did the same thing as with the first bunch of products.

I can see that the Chanel eyeliner removed better.

And here I pressed the second cotton pad soaked with the micellar water more:

I had to rub the Maybelline eyeliner pretty heavily, you know, as it was too clinging to my skin. Honestly, this is why I hardly ever use it, as it becomes almost impossible to wash it off my eyes, no matter what makeup remover I use.

So, I conclude that the NYX Stripped Off Micellar Water does its job perfectly well!

Usually my day to day makeup includes:

1. foundation or compact cushion;

2. mineral powder;

3. blushes;

4. eyeshadows;

5. mascara;

6. setting powder;

7. lipstick or a lip gloss.

And all these products I usually remove with the help of 4 or 5 cotton rounds soaked with the micellar water by NYX.

THE NYX STRIPPED OFF MICELLAR WATER is a very good product by the brand!!!

I thoroughly recommend this STRIPPED OFF MICELLAR WATER for everybody!

Thanks for your attention to my post! Have a pleasant makeup removing process! Smile
