Hello everybody!
Earlier I used to use the micellar water by Lumine and I was pretty happy with it. But after the rebranding I had to look for some other product to dupe it. I tried to use affordable micellar waters by different brands. They weren’t too bad, though I have to say that once I used them up, I didn’t have any desire to repurchase. So, when I found out that the NYX brand released their skin cleansing line, I immediately decided to try their micellar water.
The bottle offers a good size - 400ml (3.5 fl.oz). The bottle looks cute: it’s blue-colored and square in shape. The package is plastic and rather soft. The flip top cap closes well and there hasn’t been any accidents when it poured out.
Product says:
At the end of the day, it always feels good to strip it off! Available in seven unique formulas, each one of our new Stripped Off Cleansers feature a refreshing scent and amazing feel. Stripped Off Micellar Water is a fresh feeling cleansing water that uses micelle molecules to pick up impurities and makeup from the skin.
The liquid inside is absolutely transparent, but if you shake the bottle, it’ll start lathering inside.
The fragrance is fresh, barely noticeable and I can hardly feel it.
I use this micellar water almost every day. Usually when I come home from work, I take my makeup off with this product and only before going to bed I cleanse my skin with a face cleanser or a soap.
I really like using this micellar water, as I don’t have to rub my skin or press a cotton pad too tightly for the product to start working. My makeup removes well and there are no discomforting feelings afterwards. I really appreciate that the product doesn’t give me any burning sensations or sticky feel. Besides, there isn't any tightening skin effect either. My makeup usually consists of a face primer, foundation, powder, eyeshadow primer, eyeshadows, eyeliner, mascara and lipstick or a lip gloss. And all that “cake” can be easily removed with the help of this micellar water. But I have to confess that I haven’t tried to wash off my waterproof mascara with it, as I just run out of it.
But let’s witness the abilities of this micellar water ourselves:
I used these products to remove:
After the first swipe of the cotton pad:
The seconds swipe with the same pad:
If you look very close, you’ll see the stains from the Liquid Suede and green eyeshadows from the Ultimate palette which I applied over a primer. I get it why this products left some pigment. You see, the lipstick is water-resistant and the eyeshadow became more long-wearing and bright over a primer.
In general, I’m delighted with this micellar water by NYX.
It beautifully removes my makeup, it doesn’t leave any sticky feel but on the contrary, I like those refreshening sensations that it gives. I use it with great pleasure and I believe that it’ll become one of my constant products.
Thanks for your attention to my post! Have a pleasant shopping day!
