After reading a ton of positive reviews of this Origins Out of Trouble Mask, I decided that it would be a must-have for me. Moreover, I used to think that this mask would be my magic wand and a quick SOS solution for the days when my skin is slick and outbursting. How wrong I was!

Design
The design of the full-sized pack (100ml) is rather practical. The mask comes with a handy plastic tube and a flip-top cap. The plastic is soft and resilient. The mask comes out well.

Aroma
It’s rather potent and bright. The formula smells of camphor.

Consistency
The mask offers thick and a tad creamy texture, which is even a tad greasy by touch.

Use
The mask is thick and in general, it’s rather friendly application-wise. I use a synthetic brush for that. Removing it is more troublesome, though. At first, I tried to remove it with a damp washcloth (as the maker advises), but no matter how hard I tried to remove it, there still was a feeling that the mask was present on my skin. That’s why I had to wash it off with water.
During the second and the following uses, I just didn’t even try to use that damp washcloth and removed the mask with water. However, it isn’t an easy task to remove the product from my skin with regular water. That’s why I had to use a facial sponge.
The mask dries out my skin, given that it’s combo and more oily in summer. It isn’t dry at all. The mask tightens my skin a lot, though it doesn’t affect my blemishes.
For me, this Origins Out of Trouble Mask has literally become a waste of money. I’ve used it 5 times maximum since the day I purchased it and that’s enough for me to conclude that this product doesn’t suit me.

I didn’t dare to analyze every component of the product but still, I wanted to find out what that ingredient was that dried my skin out so badly. And it isn’t actually the first cosmetic product that has Salicylic Acid in its components which doesn’t suit me and dries out my skin a lot. And I also can’t get why they decided to infuse the product with sun protection filters (Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide). What do these have to do in a facial mask?

Overall
The Origins Out of Trouble mask is pricey and it doesn’t suit my skin at all. I won’t ever repurchase and call you for doing the same. Never recommended.
