My today’s review is about a rather interesting product - PIXI Glow Mist. It’s a true multi-tasking spray! Enriched list of ingredients, handy packaging, these are the things which hook up at once. But, let’s find out if it’s really so good?

First things first.

Outer appearance: on the left, I have a brand new spray and on the right the one I’ve been using for about 2 months (approximately 4 times a week). As you can see, the product is bi-phase, one phase is oil and another is base.

Before use, shake the bottle to mix them. Nothing difficult about it.

These are the product promises:

Gives a glowing, luminous and smooth complexion.

Enriched with 13 natural oils plus propolis, aloe vera and fruit extracts.

Hydrates, protects and nourishes.

Sets makeup, adds a dewy finish and protects skin.

Refreshes makeup, hydrates and adds glow.

Use on hair for a luminous, healthy glow.

Suits all skin types.

Not tested on animals.

Ingredients:

Water, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Dipropylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Propolis Extract, Niacinamide, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Betaine, Sodium Hyaluronate, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Panthenol, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract, Adenosine, Rose Flower Oil, Tagetes Minuta Flower Oil, Mentha Arvensis Leaf Oil, Elettaria Cardamomum Seed Oil, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Oil, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Leaf Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil.

Well, the list is long but the first components are really wholesome extracts and oils.

How to use:

Use: In the AM and PM or when needed.

Step 1: Shake to mix.

Step 2: Close eyes and mist over face, neck & hair.

This is what it looks like when you shake it well:

Even though the spray still gets on my under eye skin, it isn’t irritated or anything.

How I use it:

  • I use it before my makeup application to prep my skin. After that my makeup applies like a dream! My skin feels immediately hydrated and as though supple.

  • I also set my makeup with it. This way, my makeup is lively and as though lit from within, even though I use powder. I mean, you can still go for different luminous and glowing powders which won’t look dewy on your skin. But this spray is a perfect format. Besides, it doesn’t cake my skin or over-weigh it. It only feels like setting my makeup.

  • I also use it during the day to refresh my face.

  • This spray is a good helper instead of my PM skincare products when I want to leave it nude sometimes

Its aroma might be an issue. It smells of herbs and extracts. Not amber or chasing but really natural and herbal. I find it okay.

The bottom line: The spray does everything it promises. It’s such a multi-tasker that it can easily replace your thermal water, primer, moisturizer and toner. In a word, it’s super travel-friendly: so multi-tasking and also compact (80ml)

Price: 15.00Size: 80ml

Spending: it goes a long way
