Each fall my lips become super dry. But I don’t give up and try to nurture them as much as possible. Every fall season welcomes different lip exfoliators and balms to my makeup pouch. I’ve tried many of them when I finally jumped to the conclusion that stick lip products are the most convenient for me.

Packaging: a standard thick paper casing. The stick itself is covered with a metal rim.

Smell/flavor: it smells of propolis, rather natural and pleasant. The flavor is sweet.

Consistency: this lip scrub is a thick stick, like a bullet of lipsticks. When I apply it on my lips, the formula stars melting and transforms into a lip balm infused with a myriad of tiny exfoliators.

Price: $6.00

It’s practically impossible to wash this lip product off with water: the thing is that it turns the texture in some kind of a grease and that grease stays put on my hands. It’s so unpleasant. Try to wash off your lip gloss with water and you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Wink

I can tell you about two ways of using this product and both of them start with applying the formula over your lips right from the stick, like a lippie.

The first option - swipe the stick over your lips here and there and after that remove the product with a tissue.

The second option is my favorite. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes for the best setting. Wipe off the remaining bits with your finger afterward. (You can also rub your lips with them beforehand). Using this technique, your lips will be super soft and smooth.

What’s in the end?

✔ The scrub is handy to use. One can use it without staining his/her hands.

✔ It exfoliates and nurtures at the same time. Can you see how chapped my lower lip is in the photo? Smile Now my lips are in their worst condition, that’s why I have to use an additional lip balm after this scrub, even though usually I get enough with this scrub only.

✔ Even though the packaging is paper, it’s still rather sturdy: the product inside is safe and sound, even though I store it in my makeup pouch.

✔ The smell and flavor are pleasant.

The product fights most chapping on my lips and they are ready for a matte lipstick application.

☼☼☼ In a nutshell: it’s an excellent lip scrub for affordable money. I appreciate that it’s effective and that I can use it even without staining my hands.

It’s absolutely worth the money it cost! Highly recommended!
