I wasn’t sure whether to use these or not. I read a lot of reviews where they told that these gels can provoke allergy, reddening and irritation. And I had a bad experience with patches before, so I wasn’t even sure that they would actually work either. But, actually, all my worries were in vain, as this product is just amazing and gives visible effect! If you were crying, or ate or drank too much and now have puffy under-eyes, then you definitely need these gels.
About my skin:
I’m new to taking care of my skin, but I can’t say that I have some serious problems. Maybe only dark under-eye circles, but no fine lines or dryness.

The gels are individually packed in a thick plastic bag. They are too thick, as I can’t open them without scissors. The gels are put in the plastic stands, which is really convenient and hygienic.
✸✸✸ Form factor of the gels.
They are unscented, which is pleasant, as they won’t repel.
The gels are made of some porous fabric which is very soft and flexible. They are easy to shape, it’s convenient as the fabric stretches and adjusts to your under-eye shape. The gels I had before were very tough and travelled when I blinked and spoke. It was as though I was pushing them up with my cheeks.
The Skyn Iceland gels stay in their places well, no matter the blinking and speaking.

✸✸✸ Use
In the morning, when I woke up, I was really sleepy, so I did a lot of mishaps, whilst trying to apply them well. I’ll tell you about a few nuances of these gels to prevent you from having problems.
- The pack is difficult to open.
Have you ever tried to open up a parcel? The plastic there isn’t torn, but stretchy. And the same goes to these gels. Despite the fact that there’s a special groove to open the pack, it’s still very difficult to open. So, use scissors!
- Plastic + frost = very fragile and firm plastic.
They recommend to cool the gels in a fridge before use. But they forgot that the gels are packed in plastic stands. In my fridge the plastic became very firm and when I tried to bend the stand, one gel just broke. The plastic shutters are sharp, and can get into your eyes, so be careful. In general, be VERY careful with the packaging as to not hurt yourself.
- There’s a backing on the gels.
When I got the gels out of the stand, I started to stick one onto my under-eyes. But it was so firm that it didn’t want to stick at all. I thought that it “froze” and breathed on it, but nothing happened, it still didn’t want to stick. It took me a while to understand that there was a special backing on the gel, which needed to be removed. It may sound obvious now, but back then, I was really sleepy.
✸✸✸Feelings while use
I want to repeat that thanks to the form factor, the gels sit well on my skin. They don’t travel or unstick, and the most important thing is that they don’t stretch my skin! Also, I noticed a light cooling effect, but I think that’s because I kept them in the fridge. I didn’t feel any irritation, tingling or any other discomfort. Nothing at all, the gels are absolutely weightless on my face!
✸✸✸ Result
The result was just AMAZING! I never write my reviews with so many positive emotions, but here, I can’t restrain myself. I was so amazed when saw the effect, that I don’t even know how describe it. I used to use many other gels, but their result was barely visible. As for the Skyn Iceland ones, here the result is visible.
Once I woke up with my eyes really puffy. I didn’t cry, drink or sleep with contacts, but it looked absolutely vice versa. I had all the known to me problems at the same time: dark under-eye circles, puffy eyes (my eyes were so puffy, as never before). I decided to stick the gels and wore them for 20 mins. When I looked in the mirror, I was stunned! There were no puffy eyes. It looked as though they de-puffed under the gels. My skin was smooth and dark circles looked liked covered with a concealer. In general my look was fresh and beautiful: the gels worked wonders. They did everything I want them to do, and even more! It’s just a miracle!
The effect isn’t just cosmetic, as the gels also take care of the skin. Mine has become soft as a baby’s bottom! I wanted to touch it again and again. I’ve never had such a result, even from the most expensive cream!
I tried to show you the maximum of the results, but the sun is cruel and shows even the smallest blemishes as a catastrophe, so my idea is that the result in life was much better. And, it’ll also be better to look at the photos from a distance, as the total difference is seen better than on macro zoom.
✩ Let’s look at the first photo taken in the diffused sun light. I think that it’s visible that the puffiness disappeared and my skin around the eye bone puffed a bit and isn’t falling down any more. You can clearly see that my skin color has improved: it’s smooth and pink. And also I said goodbye to my dark and under-eye circles.
✩ However, as I’ve already told above, the sun shows the smallest blemishes. That’s why it becomes difficult to show all the improvements. At first sight you might even think that there aren’t any at all. But still, I decided to attach this photo, as the result is visible even in it.
Despite the sun and shadow created “dark under-eye circles” you can see that the saggy under-eye skin has become much better. The cheek bone isn’t visible so much, my skin is smooth and pulled up. On my left eye (photo on the right) you can see that before there were dark circles, puffy and saggy skin. And in the photo after, the skin is even and there’s no puffiness.
✩ Let’s look at the result without diffused sun light. That same Wow effect from when I looked in the mirror. This photo shows the result best of all: no puffiness, saggy skin, my skin is smooth and even. My look is fresh and well-rested. I’d even say that a woman in the photo below sleeps 10 hours a day and doesn’t work! 
✸✸✸ Make-up
As I’ve already said, these gels have a very convenient shape to apply make-up on. They help to create the beautiful eyeshadow flick and will never let stain the under-eye area with dark and dust eyeshadows. As for the foundation, no problems here, I unstuck the gels and applied foundation after the whole make-up was done.

Even though my review is very long, I hope it’s useful for you. Skyn Iceland gels are a miracle! They proved that gels are worthy and really work. I don’t know if there’s anything that can do better with my under-eye area, as these do all I demand and even more.
As for the allergy. I’m a highly allergic individual, but these gels didn’t irritate or provoke any discomfort. If you are afraid to buy the whole pack, then buy one pair of the gels at first, just to test.
