Design
The jar has a screw on top cap. My mini didn’t have any protective liner or a foil wrap.
The top lid is glossy and golden. The jar is made of plastic.

The texture is thick and gel-esque. I need a pea-sized amount of it for one use.
The color isn’t sheer. The smell is neutral and pleasant.

This product fits into my skin care game so nicely. I don’t use it every day but only when my skin is dehydrated and I need mega moisture. Or when I use a foundation which can accentuate my skin texture and dry it out. This way I use it as a moisturizer with a previously applied serum and eye cream.
Tarte Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost Moisturizer
The Tarte gel preps my skin for makeup. It’s perfect as a primer. I can’t also get by without it when the heating is on. I don’t have a humidifier and I have to find a solution from this product.
It sinks in relatively quickly. I let it sink in for a minute and then start putting on my makeup.
The spending is minimal and the product goes a long way, even though the jar is small.

I’d repurchase this with great pleasure. The price isn’t so affordable, though. Pricey…
