Hey gorgeous!
I first heard about this product on Youtube. No, I didn’t want to buy it no matter what. However, when I was surfing the iHerb website, I added it to my cart. So, I’m going to review Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera today.
The Thayers brand is quite wide, by the way. I don’t remember why I decided to purchase this very bottle. I probably wanted to try the most popular stuff of the brand.
Volume: 355 ml
Price: $8-10
Expiry date: On the bottom there is a date of production indicated, but I haven’t found the day it expires.
Outer look
I’m not a big fan of fanciful design, you know. I love simplicity and minimalism. Well, this bottle meets my requirements, it’s absolutely up my alley. The product comes in a transparent plastic bottle, so you can always see how much of the product is left.
The sticker has improved, which is so good. Now you don’t have to look through the bottle to learn the ingredients. Everything is crystal clear now.
The bottle has an ordinary flip-top cap.
It also has a tamper proof film. Very nice.

Smell
I read reviews that said the rose scent was too potent. Yes, there is a smell, but it’s not so strong and it disappears quickly. If you are very sensitive, however, it may be something to consider.

My feel
The consistency reminds me of water, but the scent is different.
The product is the same as other toners. I soak a cotton pad with the toner and clean my skin.
My skin: I have combination skin in my T-zone. It’s very sensitive and can be dry from time to time. Plus, I have rosacea and I’m trying to get rid of acne at the moment.
Well, I don’t expect a product to counter my problems. I just want it to work carefully and doesn’t dry out my skin, which means that it should be alcohol-free. Moreover, I want to use it more than 2 times a day. In particular, it's great in summer.
Actually, a toner is such a product, in which results are hard to control. It has to prepare my skin for further care. A product performs more widely? Great, if it delivers on the promise. As for this toner, I would say, that it’s perfect for everyday routine and I got what I wanted: The toner takes good care of my skin and prepares it for further products. It even moisturizes my skin a little. I use it a few times a day. It doesn’t cause any discomfort or dry out my skin. My skin feels neither taut nor sticky. As for my pores, I haven’t noticed any effect.
As a result, I can emphasize the following cons:
the smell is something to consider
no expiry date on the packaging
no tightening of my pores
and pros:
natural ingredients
doesn’t dry out skin
moisturize the skin
leaves no sticky film
causes no discomfort
As far as you can see, the pros outweigh the cons. Additionally, these drawbacks are insignificant. The smell depends on your personal taste, so might love it. The only thing that bothers me is that there is no expiry date. The product has a lot of natural ingredients, so it may be so that you have to use it up in a year or less.
I can recommend Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera for your skin routine.
