Hey!

I guess that every girl wants to try sugaring and remove unwanted hair, because it’s annoying to use a razor every day. That’s about me too.

The thing is that I have dark hair, dark eyebrows and brown eyes. I resemble my father, so I took the abundance of body hair after my father, too. I’m ok to have black hair on my legs, bikini area and armpits, as most of the people have the same problem, but I can’t make peace with black hair on my arms. It was less visible earlier, but now it started growing faster and got darker. I’ll attach photos below for you to see.

Honestly, I’m a little bit ashamed for writing this review and showing you these pictures, but a review without photos is nothing, so I have to do this. Keep calm and be patient, please Smile

I’d been doing sugaring at home before, but I didn’t succeed unfortunately. I couldn’t make balls for spreading out. As a result I’d decided to take a small blunt knife and apply the liquid mixture and then pull it off. It’s a more convenient, quick and easy way for me, plus my arms are not sticky after that.

WHAT WE NEED?

  1. 8 tbsps sugar
  2. 2 tbsps water. The water should necessarily be warm.
  3. Any bowl. I usually use a glass one
  4. ½ tsp lemon juice
  5. Spatula or anything you want for distributing the substance
  6. Printer paper. You can tear the paper or do without it at all.

If you want to sugar your legs or armpits, you should better scrub the area 2 days before. As for my arms, I didn't prepare them for the procedure. I washed them, dried out and applied baby powder. You need it for the mixture to pull hair instead of skin.

HOW I DO IT

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, put in a microwave for 2 mins, stir it and let sugar melt for one more min till the substance turns bright and golden. Put it in the microwave for a minute again and stir it from time to time.

Once sugar is yellow, put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. It’s ready if it got darker. If it is not, put it for another 15-20 seconds.

THE MIXTURE WILL HAVE BUBBLES AND FOAM.

Now let it cool for a while. You can pour hot water into a bigger bowl and place your bowl with the mixture in it on top. I used also a hair dryer to quicken the process.

NOTE: The perfect mixture was not too thick, it even melted off a little in my case. As a result I could apply a thin layer of it.

I don’t like a thicker texture, because I have to make balls then, which are useless for me.

HOW TO APPLY

- apply it in the opposite direction as hair growth

- pull it off in the same direction as hair growth

- Your hair should be about 5mm long, so that the substance could pull it.

BEFORE photo of my arm:

Don’t pelt rotten tomatoes at me. I used to get them lightened, so I didn’t walk with it outside:

Application with a thicker substance:

Application with a liquid mixture:

It’s obvious that it applies easily this way.

This is what I have after I’ve jerked it off in one quick movement.

What I am left with is some single hairs that are easy to remove with tweezers.

After that I washed my arms with cold water and apply Holika Holika Soothing Aloe Gel, which prevents skin irritation and red spots. Right after use red spots appear, but they are gone in a few hours.

It was the same with my bikini area. I had 4mm hair there, but look what I eventually got. It means that we have this long hair under our skin.

As a result, I hardly had any hair appear within 3 weeks when I usually have razor bumps the next day after I’ve shaved.

The sugaring for arms and bikini area is absolutely painless for me, I feel practically nothing. However, it is different with my legs, so I don’t sugar them anymore. I’ve hidden the photo in a quote.

Basically that’s all I have to say for the time being. However, I doubted if I should write this review and show these pictures.

I hope it helps!
