BalmJour, gals! Matte lipsticks seem to be vanishing in winter and replaced by trendy brilliant glows!

Choosing between a dead matte lipstick or a glossy one, I’ll always opt for the glossy for sure! Such lipsticks look more lively on my face and it is able to conceal my blemishes.

So, being at the store, I was dreadfully attracted by this lippie.

And its description is too captivating not to buy it at once:

Lip stains to up your gloss game for a perfect mix of stain and shine! With a uniquely flexible formula, theBalmJour starts as a gloss, finishes as a stain, and delivers the high-pigment payoff of a lipstick. And since these creamy, moisturizing lip stains have serious staying power, you’ll never have to say, “adieu.”

Sounds nice, doesn’t it? The product is cool, so let’s pass over to its characteristics:

Packaging and design: TheBalm is the brand that describes the characteristics I’d like to have - bright, unique, sexy, individual. And this lippie is like that!

The packaging is made of cardboard. It’s eye-catching and beautiful; the tube is of sound plastic. The product doesn’t leak or come out too much.

Pigmentation and color: The product offers good and well-pigmented texture. One swipe is enough for my lip covering but I still prefer packing.

The color Hola is peach nude.

I guess, it’ll flatter many of you because it does look like a universal shade!

Application and staying power: Even though the lippie is liquid, it still doesn’t feather on my lips and sets quickly. The gloss vanishes several hours after the application but the delicate and beautiful tint is there. It doesn’t dry out my lips and I don’t feel it while wearing. If I drink something, the product stains cups but doesn’t vanish completely.

I can wear it up to 4 hours on average.

I also noticed that it can gather with a white film on my inner lip if I apply too much.

The aroma of the product is super pleasant - sweet and dessert-esque.

The color line up offers 8 shades to choose from. I liked all of them. Another shade which I really liked was Konnichiwa.

1 - Ni Hao; 2 - Hello; 3 - Ciao; 4 - Konnichiwa; 5 - Hola; 6 - Namaste; 7 - Salut

This lippie reminds me of the L'Oreal A L'Extraordinaire Color Riche one, which is way cheaper. But the TheBalmJour is thicker.

Price: I bought it with a discount but the full price is $14.

I guess I wouldn’t buy it for the full price then.

That’s it. Hurry to the beauty stores to get this stain and shine bright like a diamond! ✨
