There are so many highlighters out there in the market which are all different in texture, grain, pigmentation etc.
BECCA has already won the beauty world and got the leading position when in comes to highlighters. Of course I couldn’t resist and ordered a few products by this brand for me to try.
I’ve already had a lot of pressed powder highlighters but I didn’t have any of a liquid consistency. This is why I opted for the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter.
The product comes in a simple yet cute packaging - black-brown box with silver lettering.
Size: 50ml (oh Gosh, this will last a lifetime!)
They offer a huge color selection of the highlighters in the line and I can say that all of them are just killer!
*-* I have mine in the color Moonstone. It’s a really versatile champagne shade.
The tube looks like this:
It’s made of a thick plastic which is rubberized a little. The top cap is of the same color as the box and the brand’s logo. It is made of metal. The product is rather weighty in my hands and I do really like it, as it feels perfectly well that I’m holding a high-end product.
The pump is nice, it works well and doesn’t dispense too much of the formula. One press of the pump is enough for me for to apply all over my cheekbones, Cupid’s bow, bridge of the nose and chin.
The consistency is super pleasant! Sometimes I use this perfector as a makeup primer and the product is really easy to smear all over my face thanks to the pleasant consistency.
The product shows a very beautiful glow on my skin. There aren’t any big shimmer bits to it. The grain is super small. The product is nice to layer by the way.
I mix my BB cream with this product to get the glowing from within skin effect, especially when my skin is in good condition and I want my makeup to look as natural as possible. Sometimes I add some bronzer and blush, lip gloss and some accents on my eyes and brows and that’s it, I’m ready to be a star!
But sometimes I need my makeup to look very evening-like and bright. This is when I automatically take this highlighter out. It looks amazeballs when using a flash!
I adore this product and I’m sure to repurchase it a thousand times, of course unless Becca brings us some other cosmetic highlighting treat.
