Hello pretty ladies!
The Весса brand is first of all known for its highlighters but its pink under eye corrector is no way less popular indeed. I wanted to buy it a really long time ago, so when I saw an excellent set of two face primers + a mini of this corrector, I immediately ordered it.
Today I want to share my thoughts on the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector.
The design of this product is rather simple though still sophisticated. The base is made of glass while the top cap is plastic and faint-pink in color. The mini looks absolutely the same as the full-sized products.
The weight of my mini is 2.3g, while the full sized jar offers 4.5g. The product expires within 24 months after opening.
The corrector is of a light pink color, the same as the package shade. The scent is here, it isn’t chasing but cosmetic-like.
The texture is rather thick though it’s still very easy to smear over the skin. It’s better to follow this technique of application of this corrector - apply a little bit of the product on your fingers, warm up and only after that apply over your skin. You can also use a brush to apply it, but I don’t like it as the product becomes very difficult to blend out then.
This color is fab for the fair/medium skin tones. It may look a little bit fair over the skin, though it isn’t a problem for me.
Aside from the pink shade of the corrector that really camouflages the blue and purple shades under my eyes, it also highlights the under eye area very nicely.
The Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector has a lot of tiny light reflecting particles which make me look fresh and visually less puffy in the morning.
Right after the application the product might feel a little bit sticky over my skin. You see, the product doesn’t set itself, so it’s better to powder it to prevent creasing.
I was also very pleased with the wear time of this product. Till the very evening my under eye area looks the same as in the morning when I apply my makeup.
Let’s have a look at the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in action.
Here’s my blue under eye area as it is. It isn’t the worst as may be, though it still doesn’t look good.
I apply the corrector with a thin layer dabbing it over my skin and then start blending it out.
Then I apply my foundation and I also apply it to my under eye area. I don’t use a concealer.
I powder my face, fill in the eyebrows and then finish doing my makeup. This is how the product looks without any foundation on.
I really liked the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector! It’s a good working product which is easy to use and I can see the results right away. I’m thinking about purchasing the full sized jar, as my under eye skin feels very well moisturized with this product.
Yet still, I’ll keep on using my favorite Urban Decay Color Correcting Fluid for heavier and evening makeup looks, as it’s thicker texture-wise and it really sets itself.
Price: $32
Thanks for your attention! Be always beautiful and have a pleasant shopping day!
