Hey, Sweeties! Smile

It’s pretty useless to write reviews about limited editions, because they are usually hard to find. But I come across this eyeshadow quite often online, so I decided to tell you about it.

So, here it is, the Bobbi Brown Sequin Eye Shadow!

This is a part of the Wine & Chocolate Holiday 2016 Collection. The range was available in 4 limited shades.

The design of the case is simply a masterpiece!

The product comes in a compact golden case with an embossed B letter: beautiful, stylish and expensive-looking.

The packaging itself is made of plastic. The cap clicks shut. Inside you can find a mirror.

The Bobbi Brown Sequin Eye Shadow is actually pressed shimmer.

The texture is dry and feels a little bit rough and uneven. It is very dusty when picking up with a brush. Also, it’s badly pigmented and doesn't apply with a dry brush well. The color is dull. Using your fingers or a damp brush makes a difference.

The glistening particles do not fall out when wearing.

In terms of the staying power, it all depends on the eyeshadow base you use.

I have two shades from this limited range: “Prosecco" and "Rose Gold."

Prosecco” is a luminous yellow gold.

Rose Gold” is a luminous and gentle pink.

Here are the swatches with a dry and damp brush.

Left: dry brush. Right: damp brush.

This eyeshadow is absolutely not a standalone product! It can be used only as a topper to complete any makeup. It doesn’t look good when used solo.

Here is the shade Prosecco with the Tarte Tarteist Pro To Go Palette.

Here, I applied the shade Rose Gold to the center of my movable eyelid. The base is creamy MUFE Aqua XL Color Paint in the shade I-80.

Plus, I added Rose Gold as a glowing accent to the movable eyelid in this smokey eye look created with the Lime Crime Venus III and the Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions Palette.

The Bobbi Brown Sequin Eye Shadow is not my favorite for sure. I don’t like its dry formula and insufficient glow, but I love the packaging.

So, if you ever come across this eyeshadow, do not try it! It’s not worth such big bucks.

Price: about $38-40

Thank you for reading my thoughts! Be always beautiful and a happy shopping experience! Wink
