Hello all the lipstick lovers! 
My love with lipsticks started very recently. After I tried the Clarins Rouge Eclat #13 I can say that I became hooked on lipsticks. But still the Clarins product seems to be a little bit odd to me as I made a mistake choosing the color. I needed a lipstick for a more or less everyday wearng shade. Starting to look through the swatches on the internet I was hoping to find my perfect lipstick there. I didn’t want the lippie to be too fair as I wanted it to look harmonious even when I’m tanned. I also needed a lipstick that wouldn’t make my teeth look visually yellow.
And once I saw it, the Givenchy Rouge Interdit in the color Nude In The Dark. Even the name of the color seemed to be screaming that it was the very lipstick that I was looking for so long. On my birthday I had a discount in one of the beauty stores and here it is, my birthday present.
So, let’s get started. The product was placed in a cardboard box with all the product info on it.

The case is very interesting and black. It’s so sophisticated yet it’s a massive fingerprint collector. You need to pull the ribbon loop on the back to get the lipstick out of the case.
The color looks exactly like what I was looking for. It’s a balanced mixture of brown, red and pink shades. It’s just an ideal dirtied nude for me. On the first go the lipstick hides my natural lip color.

The texture is buttery and I can say that it easily glides on my lips.

Looking at my lips in the photos below, please keep in mind that at that moment they didn’t look their best as I recently suffered a cold sore and had a lot of flaking. But still you can see that the lippie applied well.
The formula isn’t drying and as you can see it doesn’t show flaking much. It stays on my lips for 4-5 hours.
I heard them saying that the Givenchy lipsticks have an unpleasant smell. But it’s okay for me.

After about 4 hours of wearing the product lost its initial shine but still it looked decent.

From the bottom of my heart I can recommend this lipstick for purchasing. Considering the fact that there are more than 20 shades in the collection, you will definitely find a shade for you.
