I knew about the Kat Von D Beauty after I read about Kat being a famous tattoo artist in the USA.
The Kat Von D brand releases not only liquid lipsticks but also face primers, foundations and concealers (that can cover up even tattoos), eyeshadow palettes, eyeliner and many other products. Some of them have become really a cult. If I had the opportunity to buy everything by the brand, I would have bought them immediately! The brand is Cruelty Free by the way, which is a very positive sign. The price tags are pretty high, for a reference. But let’s stop speaking about the brand and move onto the liquid lipstick.
So, meet please Lolita

On the official site they promise us a 24-hour wear, high-pigment and also natural moisturizers in the ingredients like vitamin E and some other wholesome stuff. In general they claim that the product is uber comfortable on the lips. And I can say that’s true! This very lipstick is the most comfortable out of my entire collection. It feels like I have nothing on my lips when I wear this product. You can even apply it on you non-primed lips and the product won’t be drying at all!
As for removing, I remove all my liquid lipsticks with cleansing oils or with micellar water infused with water. The product was packed in a doozy black gothic-looking card box with the naming of the shade, list of ingredients and some information on the back.
The design of the lipstick is very stylish: transparent long tube with a black top cap with the logo of the brand as well as a design of silver roses.
To be honest I desperately wanted to buy this liquid lipstick not only because of the sublime shade and texture but also because of the stylish and posh tube packaging. I like everything about it. One glance is enough to see that the product is expensive and high-end. Well, I’ve fallen in love with it the moment I was looking through the swatches and photos of the tube online.
Shade: Kat describes this color as a Chestnut Rose.
I absolutely agree with this description as the product looks really chestnut colored while application, but as soon as it dries, it obtains some pinky undertones. The shade is very complicated and luxurious. I also think that it’s universal and will flatter any skin, eyes and hair color.
When I read the name of the color I unintentionally start thinking of Nabokov’s Lolita. This very color is the most popular in the entire collection, indeed. It also has a little sister called Lolita II and on the official site it’s described as a Terra Cotta Nude shade. For my liking this one isn’t as beautiful as the usual Lolita.
On my lips the product looks rather dark but I like it. I appreciate that it gives full and opaque coverage from the first application. I can’t feel any fragrance in it. The finish is matte and a little bit powder-like. The lipstick doesn’t accentuate small wrinkles and creases which I’m so happy about.
The applicator is the best of the best.
The wand is long. As for the application itself it’s well-shaped wand is perfect to contour my lips precisely. I also like that the applicator doesn’t take out too much of the lipstick. The amount is right to do one lip. I’m very happy about this liquid lipstick!
The product stays on my lips all day. It easily survives a meal but still can require a little touch up. Even if I apply the second layer of the product, it’ll never look cakey on my lips. I love this lipstick very much, but I don’t use it often, as I just don’t want it to run out too soon.
I rate the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick with 10 stars out of 5!
This is how much I love it. I know that I’ll never throw away the tube with the product even if I used it up, since it’s a collector's item for me, look how pretty it is.
Hands down, I love this product. If you have the opportunity to buy this lippie and give it a go, do it, don’t miss your chance! I’m sure that it’ll become the best (or one of the best) lippies you’ve ever tried and applied on your lips in your life.
