Once I came up with the idea that I urgently needed a nude-like lipstick with warm undertones to match my fair complexion. I wanted it to be peachy-brown and matte for sure. I looked at thousands of lippies at the local store and they all looked either orange or grayish-brown on me.
When I was almost upset, I found out that my friends were planning to go to Italy. Without any further ado I told them that I wanted one of the Kat Von D famous Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks and went home to search the web to choose the right color. Oh God! There were 42 shades available and it was so difficult to choose only one! But I did that tricky task and opted for the Double Dare shade. And here it is! I have finally gotten it!
My friends told me that this very color is very popular and when they went to the store there was only one tube left.
I’m obsessed with the design! Kat Von D herself draws all the packagings’ designs. The weight of the product is 6.6ml. The tube the product is of prolonged shape and it’s thin. It’s the longest and thinnest lip product in my collection. The tube is very handy and practical, I understood it when I put the product into my clutch bag.
I read a lot of reviews where girls were mad with the applicator wand being too long. I don’t actually get it, for me this applicator is one of the most convenient ever. Thanks to its long wand and small applicator, I can contour my lips within a few seconds, this can’t be a drawback. Moreover the applicator is so easy to work with that I don't have to use a Q-tip or concealer to correct the mishaps, as there can’t be any mishaps.
The color is exactly what I was looking for. It's a peachy-brownish nude color. I knew that it exists not only in my dreams. 
On the swatch the product looks darker for some reason.
Consistency-wise, the Kat Von D lippie is something in between the Huda Beauty and Sephora’s lip products. The texture is so easy to apply that I get opaque coverage from the first layer. After the application my lips did feel a little bit sticky, but not as much as after the Huda Beauty Liquid lipstick but the stickiness disappears some minutes later. The wear is comfortable. The product doesn’t dry out or tighten my lips. It’ll survive a light meal. Fruit, sandwiches, salads, coffee, tea it’ll survive easily. It’s also very easy to touch up without making your lips look cakey. I usually touch up only in the middle of my lips where that product tends to fade most of all. It can be rather tricky to remove the product from your lips with a micellar water. Opt for the cleansing oil and the process will be way easier and quicker.
This lippe can define the texture of my lips but I don’t count it as a disadvantage.
Despite the claim that the product has some nourishing properties, I haven’t noticed any, which is very logical when it comes to the liquid matte lipstick. It doesn't dry out too much. I can start experiencing a little bit of discomfort only after 4 hours of wearing. To keep my lips in good condition I always apply a nourishing lip balm overnight. Maybe that’s the reason why the product feels comfortable for me.
In a word, the lippie is awesome and thank God there isn’t any corner with the Kat Von D products at my place, otherwise I’d have bought everything they have! If I travel somewhere out of my town and see her corner, I’ll definitely buy some other shades of this lipstick collection.
