Hello everybody!
It’s been a long time already since Black Friday sales, while impressions of the use of some products are still emerging.
Today, I’d like to speak about the KIKO Smart Hydrating Foundation. I bought it discounted.
This is what it looks like:
It took me some time to get what to apply it with best of all. I’ve tried my fingertips but then the finish was too mask-esque. I also tried to apply it with a brush. But since I’ve got only one brush, it was inconvenient to use it afterwards. :(And this is how I realized it was time for me to buy a beauty sponge! It’s really affordable and great in quality.
I don’t need much of a foundation with this sponge. This amount is enough to apply all over my face (the drop in the picture ran down a little).
So, let’s pass over to the product in action. It’s great, isn’t it?
A few words about my skin. Recently, it has become very dry. I mean if I take a shower and don’t cover my skin with a moisturizer immediately, my skin will get furious.
It’ll be very tugged, dry, and awful.
So, my dry skin requires a special foundation. I love the KIKO Milano brand, so I decided to look up for something from them. And this is how I found this affordable moisturizing foundation. At that time, there hadn’t been many reviews of it, so I bought it at random.
This is what my face looks like before a foundation application (here I only have some NYX concealer on my skin). I can see small blood vessels peeking through but in general, I think, my complexion is rather smooth.
This is what it looks like after application. Some pictures under different lighting:
Don’t forget to contour your face after foundation. Otherwise, you’ll look plain and sole-colored, like me.
I use The Body Shop Bronzer for that.
In the end, I only have to coat my lashes with a mascara and that’s it.
So, I can genuinely recommend this foundation. It’s really moisturizing, long-wearing and provides nice coverage. It does really work like a BB cream but the more affordable version of it.
I hope that you found my review informative.
See you!
