LA-Splash Cosmetics Studio Shine Waterproof Matte Lip Lustre - review

This is the so hyped LA Splash Studio Shine Waterproof Matte Lip Lustre in a very sophisticated color «Selene».

• It’s matte yet shining. What’s more, it’s waterproof!

• Somehow it reminds me of the M.A.C. Heroine lipstick, with the only exception is that this lippie looks more packed with pigment and super matte texture-wise.

• The formula is so matte that it becomes really tricky to wash it off from my lips even with oils, which is such a rare occasion for a lipstick, you know.

• The texture is kinda moussy but it’s a little bit thicker and not so airy. This is how I see this lipstick!

• You know, the texture of this lipstick is thick, this is why it’s better to outline your lips with a lip liner prior to application. It’s impossible to outline my lips with the applicator beautifully, even though it’s rather convenient. And in general, if you don’t use a lip liner, your lipstick can bleed some time later after the application. So, a lip liner is a must to pair with this product. I bought one by M.A.C. in the color CYBER WORLD.

• I adore the way this product looks over my lips + the wear time is fantastic!

So, is the cake worth the candle? Yes, it is! Especially for photo-shoots, parties and meetings!
