Hello my dear readers!
Matte liquid lipsticks have really become a part of our lives, this is why the LASPLASH COSMETICS Studio Shine Waterproof Matte Lip Lustre has become my absolute love. I’ll tell you about all the positive and negative sides of this product below.
Price: $17
Made by: LA SPLASH COSMETICS
Full name: Studio Shine Waterproof Matte Lip Lustre
Shade: Dutchess (14410)
Volume: 3 ml
They claim that it’s a Matte Lustre Lipstick
✿✿✿ The outer appearance of the matte lustre:
The product was packed in a beautiful black and pink box. All the product info is given on the box.
As for the liquid lipstick itself, it looks standard for a lip gloss tube.
This liquid lipstick has a very convenient applicator, which always picks up the right amount of the content, just what I need.
The lipstick is of a very intense red color. If you look very close at the formula through the tube, you’ll see that it’s got a lot of shiny micro particles inside.
Here I intentionally rubbed a little bit of the formula on my hand to show you the beautiful shine of the particles of the lipstick. One more thing that I want to draw your attention to is that these particles never travel over your face during the day and always stay on your lips until the moment you decide to remove the lipstick.
✿✿✿ The product application
This lippie by LA-Splash Cosmetics is super long-wearing! This is why you should be very careful with it during application. If you applied it uneven and want to remove it, you might face some problems then, as the formula is uber difficult to touch-up.
Of course, you all know that it’s better to exfoliate your lips prior to matte lipstick application.
I have to say that it wasn’t right off the bat when I learnt how to apply matte liquid lipsticks over my lips beautifully, but I didn’t face any problems with this lipstick application. I apply it with the provided applicator and it really helps me to apply it beautifully and even.
✿✿✿ The product on my lips and a few words about the wear time
During fall, I decided to buy this #14410 Dutchess shade which is utterly magical, bright and eye-catching. The product is really matte but thanks to those shiny particles in the formula, it starts shining in the sun or when I take pictures of it with a flash. I really like the way it starts shining then. But this shine looks very delicate and beautiful. From a distance you might even think that there’s some glossy product applied over my lips, a lip gloss, for instance.
With a flashlight the color of the product looks lighter to what it actually is. Yet still it looks noble and beautiful.
But if you look at it in the daylight, you’ll see the true color of the product as it is.
✿✿✿ The wear time of this matte lipstick:
It’s unbelievable! This product isn’t afraid of my morning coffee or lunch salad. It stays put as though this is my second skin on the lips.
But it starts fading over time by the evening and it fades crumbling off.
But, as a rule, I’m already home by the time it starts fading. This is why I take some of my long-wearing makeup remover and wash it off from my lips.
But if you don’t have such a strong makeup remover, it’s not a problem. Take a regular Shea or mango oil and apply it over your lips, rubbing it into your lips gently.

Overall:
since there are shiny particles in the formula, the lipstick looks noble and expensive on my lips.
the wear time is just amazing (the lippie stays put for more than 6 hours)
the formula is waterproof
you’ll have to use a makeup remover to wash this lippie off from your lips
the product isn’t drying for my lips
I recommend the LA SPLASH COSMETICS Studio Shine Waterproof Matte Lip Lustre. With this lippie on, it isn’t a problem any more to eat anything or kiss someone.
I hope that my review was informative for you and you’ll make the right call.
Yours sincerely, ♥ Tatyana Gav ♥
