I want to share my thoughts on the LASplash matte lipstck in a very beautiful, bright and interesting color for me, which is called Catrina.

Packaging and design:
The lipstick tube comes packaged with a cardboard box of a contrastive design.
It looks cute and really eye-catching.
Inside the box there was a tube with the lipstick, which has a less bright design pattern: it’s just a transparent acrylic tube, which actually shows you the color of the contents inside. It also has a silver top cap.
The upper part is very easy to open, which is actually an applicator. It’s of average size and it’s convenient in use for me. At the end of the applicator there’s a doe-foot sponge which is fine to apply the lipstick all over my lips.
The stopper inside of the tube is of pretty shitty in quality and I always have to wipe the excess formula off the lipstick over the rims of the tube, which I don’t really like doing as the applicator becomes really stained over time then.
Product characteristics:
The lipstick has pliant and moussy consistency which isn’t thick. It’s very easy to apply over my lips, as it doesn’t drag my lips skin behind. If you apply the product with a thin layer, you’ll be able to build-up the formula later. If you apply it with a thicker layer at once, then building up won’t work for you here: the product will apply crunchy and flake off. Right after application, the product feels a little bit tacky on my lips, but this sensation disappears after the lipstick completely dries out. The aroma is here, it’s very light and vanilla-like. It is so delicate, that I don’t even feel it present.
The product has no distinctive flavour.

A few words about the color:
It’s amazing and beautiful: it’s a gorgeous-looking red-brown-based duochrome shade with a greenish-blue metallic shine.
Use:
You have to be rather quick to apply this lipstick, otherwise it’ll dry down quickly, giving you no chance to apply it with a thin layer and building it up afterwards. The product applies streak-free and in general I like the way the coverage looks over my lips.
I can say that the product is almost undetectable on my lips, though I have to confess that it’s a little bit drying for me. It dries out very quickly and doesn't settle into my lip crevices and fine lines, even though it still does accentuate my lip relief.
Your lips have to be in their perfect condition before this lipstick application. Your teeth also have to be white. And still, even though I don’t suffer from problematic lips and I can’t say that my teeth are yellow, the Catrina lipstick still looks odd over my lips. Besides my teeth look somehow dirty and gray with it on.
This color seems to be too extravagant for me if I use its direct use as a lipstick, so I decided to try it out as a creamy eyeshadow. And you know what? This product turned out to be a pretty wearable eyeshadow shade for me:
Wear time:
Oh, it’s record-breaking! The product is even able to live through a meal. Only a bi-phase makeup remover is able to wash this lippie off my lips, or maybe an oil will also do the job well, as well as a waterproof makeup remover, I deem.
Generalizing my review, I want to highlight that technically this LASplash Studio Shine Waterproof Matte Lip Lustre is absolutely great: I feel fine wearing it, it shows beautiful wear time, accompanied with a beautiful and neon-like duochrome shade. But I have to admit that you have to have at least the basic skills in lipstick application to apply it precisely and even, as well as outline your lip edges beautifully. And the aforementioned facts aren’t actually disadvantages of the product.
I highly recommend this lipstick for those who are looking for the similar lipstick color!
