Hello beauties!
Does a mascara play a big role in your makeup game? Mine does! It’s just a crime to leave lashes uncoated when I have my makeup on. If I don’t wear a mascara I look strange and in general not to the fullest.
I have a good deal of mascaras in my beauty stash, in which I have a special selection of:
Daytime mascara - it’s a mascara that doesn’t create any drama on my lashes and only accentuates them. Here I keep those mascaras which are impossible to layer and which are failures to get the “Wow” effect.
Evening - it’s a special kind of mascara which is able to create a false lashes effect, lengthening and volumizing my natural lashes. However, I have a weakness for falsies, that’s why I always have them to help me out when I really need to look like the Drama Queen. That’s why my “evening” mascaras usually just lie somewhere about my vanity and I hardly ever use them.
Versatile - these are the mascaras which can be layered, allowing me to create the thickness and results that I want to see on my lashes.
Today I want to bring you my review of one of such versatile mascaras which is Lancome Hypnôse.
… Packaging …
When I just look at the tube with the product, I immediately understand that it’s a high-end product in front of me. It looks really expensive, sophisticated and elegant. The tube is rather weighty. When I take it in my hands, I can feel it that the product is expensive. The top cap of the product closes with a click, which is easy and convenient.
I really liked the brush of the product. It happens so that all my mascaras have silicone brushes. I’ve already forgotten what bristles are.
The Hypnôse mascara has a bristled brush, which coats my lashes from the roots to the tips. It gives great separation and lengthening.
The stopper does its job brilliantly.
♥ The Lancome Hypnôse mascara has 6,5 ml of the formula.
♥ The aroma is usual and I almost don’t feel it.
♥ The price is $27
♥ Made in France
♥ The tube itself has a batch-code on it, which is so convenient because it lets us control the expiration dates. Such a huge advantage.
...Product says…
A mascara that gives lashes buildable volume without clumping or flaking.
Go as bold, or natural, as you desire with Hypnôse Custom Volume Mascara. With every stroke, the patented POWERFULL™ brush intensifies lashes from root to tip while the exclusive SoftSculpt™ formula—enriched with Vitamin B5—wraps lashes one luxurious layer at a time without smearing, smudging, or clumping. Create day to evening looks with this buildable mascara, and achieve 600 percent the volume of your natural lash.
...About my lashes…
Unfortunately, I don’t have thick and long lashes, as my husband for instance. His lashes are long enough to get his eyebrows. Mine are thin, short and there’s no volume to them. From a mascara I usually expect lengthening and the blackest black color.
...The product in action…
The mascara turned out to be a killer in action!
it’s important to note that you can layer the product and not to get the clumped and sticking every which way lashes. If you layer the product, you’ll get a more expressive and drama effect.
One swipe of the brush already coats my lashes evenly and brightly.
I REALLY appreciate that it doesn’t stain my lower and upper lids. It’s such a problem for many cheap and expensive mascaras.
During the application, the product beautifully lifts and curls my lashes, creating additional volume and lengthening. This legendary Hypnôse mascara has gathered all the main advantages that a good mascara should have.
It doesn’t flake off to my under eyes towards the evening. Again, this is a rather frequent problem of mine. Usually I do my makeup at about 10 am and wash it off at 12 at night. And I always had a problem that by 5 pm I already started to sweep away the crumles of the flaked mascara from my skin, but the Lancome product has managed to deprive me from that a boo-boo.
This mascara is able to live through snow, rain and even tears. I’ve checked, I know what I’m talking about.
...Washing off…
I wash off all my mascaras with an oil or with a bi-phase makeup removers. I don’t like rubbing my lashes, that’s why I’m more into such products. This mascara removes easy-breezy. Five seconds are enough to put a cotton round drenched with an oil against my eyes and then rub the residue off. The mascara leaves my lashes very quickly then. And one cotton pad is enough for both eyes, by the way. I don’t look like a panda after taking my makeup off. It always washes off completely, even from the roots of my lashes.
I also want to test the Hypnôse mascara by Lancome from the other line. I like the outcome that it gives and I’m almost sure that its sisters won’t be worse.
I wish I knew about it earlier, because I can see that reason why it’s become a real YouTube hit.
Thanks a million for your attention!
