I have a sample of the Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash mascara. Samples are always awesome things, because they save our money when searching for a perfect mascara. I’m glad that I happened to try out the mini-size prior to purchasing an original tube.
Design
The product comes in a black matte casing with a minimalistic and stylish design.
The paper package has all the required information about the product and the manufacturer.
The brush is a not fluffy wand with short bristles. It’s nice to work with. Moreover, it picks up the necessary amount of the product.
The manufacturer promises panoramic volume.
Excessive Lash creates long lasting panoramic volume that fans out for a truly dramatic, eye-opening effect. The no-smudge formula builds this intense lash look, while the exclusive slim double-fiber brush works to load from root to tip and ensure absolutely no clumps.
The mascara spreads out very strangely. When applying the first few coats, it seems like I use a dry and clean brush for this purpose. My eyelashes look natural but with a bit of color.
After multiple coatings, it finally gives a little bit volume and length. By the way, it hardly gives any curl to them.
I’m obsessed with thick mascaras after which I have visible results in the first go. Here, however, I have natural-looking lashes after applying some force and multiple coatings without stunning volume and length.
It doesn’t transfer or smear my eyelid. Also, it leaves no fallout behind and stays put all day. My lashes are soft and not sturdy, but they keep the curl pretty well.
my lashes are medium, but colorless. So they are invisible when they are naked.
The product behaves alright, but nothing unique happens to my lashes. They look very natural, but I need some more visible lengthening and volumizing results.
Price point: $25 for a full-size tube.
