Pros: application, beautiful packaging, beautiful shades, great choice of chocolate palettes, pleasant scent, price, versatile shades, wear time
Cons: some are chalky in quality, some shades are badly-pigmented, some shades fall out

🍑🍫 Hello everybody!

The chocolate bars by Makeup Revolution are very hyped nowadays!

In due time I bought 7 palettes by this brand! о_О Two of them were given absolutely free as a gift from the official site.

Today we’ll speak about the yummy peachy and delicious eyeshadow palette!

🍫 Product says: 🍫

Life can be as peachy as you make it with our new I Heart Chocolate and Peaches Eyeshadow Palette. With 16 sweet and juicy shimmer and matte shades this new eyeshadow palette is definitely a necessity for this seasons looks.

Delicious and scrumptious nudes to darks to vary your look. Complete with a full size mirror and a brush for on the go.

Now you can find the products by this brand in many online as well as offline shops. They have a huge selection of different makeups like beautiful eyeshadow palettes, mono packed shadows, highlighters, a lot of lip products, makeup accessories and tools and so many more that can only be imagined.

The MakeUp Revolution brand is famous for copying many high-end brand’s products! So that in their palettes you can easily find absolutely identical shades to the Anastasia Beverly Hills, Naked, Too Faced, Huda Beauty palettes that are the same in color but not of course in quality.

And this is what actually attracts so many people, as there’s a chance to buy a cheaper copy and not to splurge on the original product. On YouTube there are a lot of videos where they wear cheap and expensive shades and apply them so nicely, that it really becomes difficult to tell the original from the dupe.

🍑 Size: 22g 🍑

Price: $14

It’s a rather good price for the palette of 16 shades, I think. And considering their quality and comparing them with some other street brands mono eyeshadows, the price is fine!

The palette is vegan-friendly as it’s gluten-free and they don’t test on animals.

🍫 Ingredients: 🍫

Mica, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Paraffinum Liquidum, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polybutene, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Parfum May Contain (+/-) TITANIUM DIOXIDE, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, CI 15850, CI 16035, CI 77742

🍑 Packaging and scent 🍑

The palette was initially packed in a box which I can’t actually show you, as buying the palette I couldn’t have ever guessed that I would write a review of it one day.

Inside we can see a beautiful pastel-peachy eyeshadow palette made of good-quality plastic.

On the back you’ll find info about the name, size and product in general.

The palette is rather heavy as it houses a big mirror and pink sponge which I took out very quickly. It won’t help me here.

The fragrance is sweet as though chocolate was mixed with some cosmetic cream. I’m fond of soap-boiling that’s why I describe the fragrance this way. I don’t feel the scent on my eyelids and I can feel it only if I put the palette very close to my nose.

😄

What’s there waiting for us inside?

16 matte, shimmer and even duo-chrome shades. The palette looks very interesting and promising: with these shades you’ll easily come up with a lot of daily, evening, bright and bold makeups.

There’s a convenient plastic sheet with all the names of the shades in the palette.

I’ll visually divide the palette into 2 segments:

Wear time and application.

The products are pigmented though not very much. Some of the shades can even look chalky, unpleasant and be dusty to the touch. Some shades have a butter texture. The darker shades are more pigmented and look brighter on the lids. The shimmer shades are also very beautifully packed with pigment and the mattes are easy to build up.

The wear time is till the evening if the shadows are applied over an eyeshadow primer. Though they can lose the intensity of color a little but in general they still look nice.

🍑 Swatches. The first row 🍑

  • Delicious - matte chalky white color that works well as a base shade which is fine for the inner corners and as a mishap corrector

  • Fruit - is a very interesting duochrome shade that really makes me a little bit puzzled: sometimes it looks cool-toned silver and the other time it looks as a warm-toned milky shade. On the swatch both shades look golden

  • Soft - soft, well-pigmented pink and gold shade.

  • Choc - this is the difficult to make out green hue with golden sparkle

  • Delight - black matte infused with small shimmer shade о_О, it looks a little bit sparkling on my skin.

The second row

  • Sweet - it distorts the light shining from beige to pearl shade. This is the best affordable highlighter, I think. It’s rather shiny so it looks cheap on the eyes. It applies with a semi-transparent layer and to get a beautiful glow, you should be ready to pack the product and pack it a lot. I don’t like it at all

  • Candy - warm-toned milky shimmer chocolate shade. It’s creamy in texture and buttery. This one is better pigmented and applies with a thicker layer.

  • Rich - beautiful metallic shade. Very well pigmented and easy to blend

  • Peach - matte peachy-pink hue that has a sparkle to it which you can see in the refill but not on the eyes. Interesting, bright, weightless and saturated hue that I can find use of.

  • Taste - brown shade with red shimmer. It’s nice as an eyeliner and accent shade on the eyes.

  • Nice - dusty black lilac shade with white and blue shimmer that may fall out a little. It’s almost undetectable on the skin.

🍑 The third row - this is completely matte 🍑

  • Lush - pastel like matte muted purple color. I like wearing it alone or as an eyeliner or apply to the crease.

  • Fine - matte brown shade

  • Lucious - matte red-brown

  • Keen - matte well-pigmented brown shade that is so nice while blending

  • Satisfy - this one is chalky and of a tender beige color

🍫 Makeups 🍫

Lush + Nice. I’ve fallen in love with the makeup where I blend out the eyeliner. It looks so nice that I can wear it everyday. It looks rather cute and not at all bright. 🍫

🍫 Delicious + Fine + Soft + to the inner corners I applied some highlighter by ABH 🍫

Sweet + Delicious + Sweet + some other eye shadows on top 🍫 Delicious + Fine + Sweet + Taste

How do you find this beigy-shimmer makeup?

🍫

🍫 And now the promised bonus! 🍫

You might wonder why I mention the size of the palette in my review? It is for a reason…

🍑 How to save money on eyeshadows? 🍑

I decided to mention it here as sometimes I face the reviews of the mono shades which aren’t of good quality.

I guess many girls love cosmetics and they won’t stop buying it but let’s be objective and count a little. Let’s take the I ♡ Chocolate and Peaches palette for example.

One refill is of 1.3g so considering the price it costs less than a dollar. Have you ever seen a mono packaged eyeshadow package that costs less than a dollar?

If so, then usually we find it expired or broken.

The cheapest mono shades cost at least $3 or even more. New launches of eyeshadows always cost a lot as well as limited editions.

But usually they put 1-2 grams of the product into the refill. So, the palettes are cheaper. Plus they are more convenient to use.

Here’s another example with the super-pigmented and self-blending-out eyeshadows by ColourPop which have the refills of less than 1g (in their palettes they have 0.85g of the product). And here we can count that 1 gram costs $1.3.

SO, choose wisely to save your money and opt for eyeshadow palettes. I always advise you to count the price of 1g of the product and then you’ll see that palettes are more profitable and high-end eyeshadows are really worth their price. They are much more pleasant texture-wise, they offer a better blending and unique color selection.

The Makeup Revolution isn’t a high-end brand, of course, though their products are really good swaps for the more expensive products.

In my humble opinion, it’s better to buy one very beautiful and much desired eyeshadow palette that will go a long way and will make you happy rather than buy a ton of mono shades that will lie about the house and will eventually be thrown away or tossed to friends.

I don’t call you for neglecting the mono packages at all, on the contrary I call you for buying what you really need. And it sucks trying to gather your “must-have eyeshadow palette” as there’ll always be something missing.

I hope that you’ll get my idea right…

Don’t buy the products that you don’t need girls! This palette can really be a need and I thoroughly recommend it!

Thanks for your attention! Love and hugs!
