Hello there!
I used to be rather indifferent to bronzers and bronzing powder, thinking that I don’t care about them. But once they opened Sephora here, I decided that my first buy would be from Marc Jacobs Beauty, which was tempting me for quite a while already.
Full name - Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronze Perfect Tan Bronzer
Weight of the product - 25g.
First impressions
This might sound irrational but the whim from the packaging only made me believe that this product would be my must-have.
The compact is huge, guys. It also looks stylish and sleek. For me, this compact wins over those white compact Tom Ford bronzers (and of course the brown packages are out of this universe indeed). The mirror is the full size of the inner lid. It’s nice quality-wise.
No pouch was provided with the product. Safe closure.
The shade 102 Tantric is a part of a permanent Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronze Perfect Tan Bronzer collection.
Color-wise, Marc Jacobs’s bronzers are sometimes cherished and sometimes scolded. In my opinion, it’s a 100% warm-toned soft bronzer without any red or gray pigments to the formula. It looks good over the skin with yellow undertones or a skin with a tan.
Swatches- In comparison with the Tom Ford Gold Dust:
Texture-wise the powder is of a nice grain and it’s soft, thin and absolutely matte. The main advantage of this bronzer for me is that it doesn’t require proper blending and always applies with a lightweight veil, forming no harsh edges. However, you can still pack the color and make it appear more intense. On the skin, it looks like a pigment but not a powder.
The staying power is decent, 6-8 hours. After that, it starts fading delicately.
Makeup
I applied the bronzer on my cheekbones, temples, forehead and a little bit on the bridge of my nose.
