Hello my pretties!
One day, I came up with the idea to buy Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows, as it was a shame to live in a 21st century and not to try them out yet. And voila, I have them now.
From the very beginning, I want to say that in the photo there’s none of Permanent Taupe here, as while I was doing my make-up, my daughter took it and did her make-up (and to the floor as well), so there’s nothing left to show you. Thanks God, I managed to do my make-up on time, before the accident
In general, I liked the product very much, but there are some flaws, alas. So, let’s get started. (with the bad ones, just for you to see and forget)
Everlasting Navy # 25. It’s a very beautiful (only in the packaging) navy blue, it looks a bit like a petrol casting. There was no tester at the store, so I picked it at my own risk, and, actually, it was a mistake:(
In my opinion, even the cheapest eyeshadows are better than this color. It’s poorly pigmented, it blends bad and applies on the eyelid like a sand. It defines the creases and wrinkles and looks like a bruise. I absolutely didn’t like it, I feel ashamed to show you the photo of it, but still I want to warn you from buying it.
I also tried to use it as a primer, but still, that horrible blue was still seen through the eyeshadows above and it looked so muddy!
The next, not even the inch less, whimsical color is Eternal Gold #05 - golden shimmer shade.
Only after buying it, I read the reviews and saw that almost everybody was upset about it. It applies badly, with patches, there’s almost no color payoff. From the first applicationI got that awful result.
It’s also impossible to layer that color, as it rolls up, which looks disgusting. But still, I found my way to that color and can now use it in summer.
For those who love blue shades Mauve Crush #87 is for you. It’s light blue shimmer color. It’s a bit of a chameleon shade.
In one layer it looks fresh and light.
The color is easy to layer and you can get it very bright, if you want.
And then, you can also darken the outer corner and get a very beautiful result (I like it)
And now, my one of the favorites: On and on Bronze #35 - a real bronze color, which I’ve been looking for so long
It’s very pleasant to apply it, easy to blend and layer. It’s so cool, really:)
I added the eyeliner
And here I darkened the outer corner
One more favorite color is Permanent Taupe #40 - it’s difficult to describe and choose the right epithet for it. I’d say it’s deep matte grey color with a light earhy shade. Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of it, but here’s the make-up I did with it.
In general, I apply these eyeshadows with my fingers, as it’s more convenient and easier, but if I want to add another color, then I use the blending brush.
I like these eyeshadows because they are:
- easy to apply with fingers. And they can be blended in a second with a brush
- extremely economical
- stay on well with no primer, but before the application, I usually powder my eyelid
- of stylish design
Thanks for reading my creative review, I hope that I didn’t keep you bored. If I offended somebody, (who knows maybe the #25 color is somebody’s favorite) then, please forgive me, but that was my opinion!
Be always nice and beautiful! Smile and you’ll see that the world around is not what we’ve got used to seeing!!! Have a good day and fantastic mood!
