What do you think about liquid matte lipsticks?
I divide them into truly matte and so-called creamy lipsticks… Or I don’t know how to call them properly.
Most matte lippies dry out my lips, but this product changed my opinion about them for good… I’m talking about SEPHORA Cream Lip Stain in the shade No.23.
At first the lipstick was covered in a protective film with two stickers, which are the name of the product and a barcode. I’ve removed them completely.
Now the lipstick looks sleek. The tube is transparent and has a black cap with the Sephora name on it.
What can I say about it? It’s perfect. The shade is cold and bright at the same time. However, it’s my personal vision of it. You can see the shade through the tube.
This is the only lipstick that looks exactly the same both on the hand and in the packaging. As a rule such lippies have a hint of pink on my lips.
The product comes with a traditional doe-foot applicator, which applies easily and evenly without sticking my lips together. It picks up just the right amount of the product enough for one coat.
The lipstick has a matte finish after a minute. A little later it gets totally matte, so you have some time to correct your makeup beforehand.
The lippie doesn’t pull my lips, although it looks so matte.
The scent reminds me of some sweets from my childhood. So tasty
The product looks perfect the whole day and lasts really well till you remove it. In my case, it wears around 6 hours on me! SIX HOURS, when two snacks are factored in.
After a while it fades from the inner side of my lips, but you can touch it up without fuss.

You’ll never remove it with water, so don’t even try it, because it’ll only cause irritation. It removes with micellar water better, but I recommend using two-phase makeup removers or an olive oil.
I haven’t found any drawbacks, sorry. The good:
true matte coverage
doesn’t sink into lip lines
lasts more than 6 hours
can be corrected easily
creates perfect contour
