I like NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP line very much, especially their matte lipsticks!
My Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Cannes run out, so I decided to buy one more, or one from another collection, but also by NYX. I was reading a lot of reviews and finally found out that Cannes shade looks very much alike with Soft Spoken Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick.
And I decided to buy it in the shade Soft Spoken:

The top is unusual and carved, despite Soft Matte Lip Cream, but that’s not the most important.
The limiter doesn’t let to take out more than you need.
The applicator is big and not of the best shape.
In 5 minutes the lipstick gets dried. I quite liked the color, but if not to compare with Cannes:
A bit of comparison:
Both tubes are very beautiful. I like the design, nothing much, the difference’s only in sizes.
The applicator in the Suede collection is more or less convenient to use and easy to apply the product with, though, it’s difficult to apply without the lip pencil.
Although the scent is without any fragrance, I didn’t like it. Luckily I didn’t feel it on my lips. But my favorite Soft Matte Lip Cream had fantastic vanilla scent.

In what way are they similar? Only the same manufacturer, maybe? Cannes has explicit pink undertone, and Soft Spoken is brown!
That brown, which I don’t like so much in lipsticks, and which I’m so lucky to buy recently.
I think, my face color changes so much for the worse with such color. In general, I'm upset and still scold myself that suddenly I wanted to become an innovator and didn't buy my favorite Cannes.
I don’t know, maybe that’s only my opinion. Maybe the shades do look alike, write me your opinion please, I’m very interested to know it.
Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick applies with no difficulties, but the texture is far too velvet, like in Soft Matte Lip Cream, which was really creamy and soft. Also, straight after the application I can feel some stickiness, but it disappears in a few minutes.
Liquid Suede Cream lasts longer, and to wash the swatch from my hand was completely impossible. I was able to remove it with a special cleanser and not very quickly, actually.
It stays on my lips about 6 hours, sinks into skin a bit, but in approximately 4 hours my lips don't look very great, it’s better to touch up from time to time. It doesn’t felt on the lips, it doesn’t flow out of the contour, doesn’t tighten my lips, but does dry them, but not much.
So, I’ll conclude about Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick:
+it’s really matte
+it doesn’t dry my lips way too much
+it doesn’t flow out of the edges
+it’s long-lasting
-defines peeling parts a bit
-it isn’t as velvet as the product promised it to be
-the applicator isn’t the most convenient one. I have to use lip pencil
-the scent isn’t very pleasant
On the one hand, I’m a bit upset that I made a mistake in the color shade. I would give Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick 5 stars (however, what’s the fault of the lipstick in my mistake). but on the other hand when I recollect the soft, velvety texture of Soft Matte Lip Cream with its pleasant vanilla scent I understand that everything is due to compare. So, only 4 stars:)
I was looking for my ideal bright red lipstick and remembered that I saw one in Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick collection.

As for the applicator, everything is the same as I described above.
The color is bright red, NOT dark, exactly the one I’ve been looking for!
The quality of Kitten Heels differs from the Soft Spoken: that red lipstick is like velvet, the quality is just great!
It applies very easily, I applied it even without a lip pencil. The product didn’t flow out of the contour.
It doesn’t define any peeling parts, the applicator glides on my lips. My lips are quite problematic: usually such bright lipsticks look untidy. But this lipstick, I think, made my lips look prettier.
I give KITTEN HEELS shade 5 stars! If you’re looking for your ideal, but not very whimsical red lipstick - here IT is!!!
