I never used to use concealers, even though I know that for some people concealer is a must-have and a firm resident of their beauty bags. They use it to cover up pimples or dark under-eye circles. I don’t have pimples but I guess that my skin started aging. I’m 31 now and I can definitely see my skin aging. But before I met this concealer I didn't even guess that everything was so bad with my skin.

On the official site the product retails in 20 different shades. Great variety I suppose.

I have mine in the color 03 LIGHT IVORY.

Price: $7

Size: 1.41g

Skin imperfections, beware! When it comes to covering up discoloration, our new Gotcha Covered Concealer Pencil does NOT mess around. Available in 20 blendable shades, this luxurious concealer is a master at spot concealing.

This concealer has its peculiarities. It looks like a pencil with a very pleasant “pencil” smell. I want to sniff that wooden scent all the time .

Even though the product looks too light in the pencil, it’s very versatile for me. I used to wear it even when I was tanned and this color didn’t look odd on me.

The stick of the pencil is soft and creamy.

It glides on the skin gently leaving the pigment behind.

How to use:

I apply it on my skin imperfections as well as on my under-eye area and upper lids.

The product in use:

To conceal dark under-eye circles

No, no and again no! First of all the pencil doesn’t glide on the thin under-eye skin as well as on my face skin. If I do apply it, I can see my skin stretching and you know how badly stretching can affect the skin. I tend to get under eye bags and dark circles, so I don’t need more wrinkles caused by concealer, thanks.

My first reaction was that my dark under eye circles have disappeared after I applied this concealer, but later I looked at my skin and saw those small wrinkles and fine lines became more visible and I really liked the “before” result more than the “after” result.

My under eye skin looked very wrinkled and it looked terrible.

This photo wasn’t taken in the same light, sorry, though you can see what I’m talking about.

I ADMIT that if you don’t have small winckles and you only need to conceal your dark circles maybe you’ll like this product. But even if you have barely visible wrinkles, this concealer will make them bigger and more accentuated.

To conceal enlarged pores: I have enlarged pores all over my face (thanks genetics +the result of an oily skin type)

And I can say that this concealer applies greatly around my nose area and doesn’t clog pores.

(before and after shot)

But this trick didn’t work with the pores on my nose. I don’t know what’s the reason for that, maybe because my pores are bigger there that’s why the concealer settles and accuates them massively making me look not aesthetic.

Here I tried to conceal small veins and still, I don’t like the result.

From me I give this product 3 stars, though I repeat that maybe this product will make somebody fall for it. In a word, this concealer will be great for young skin with minor blemishes.

Overall:

+ handy packaging

+ soft texture

+ wide range of colors

- accentuates under eye wrinkles

- sits in the pores on my nose

- stretches my skin during application

Bye guys! Thanks for reading my post!
