Hello my beauty junkies!
NYX Brow Tinted Pomade Tame&Frame Brunette.
NYX Brow Tinted Pomade Tame&Frame Brunette.
Before purchasing this product, I used to have the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade in the colors Taupe and Medium Brown.
And in general, I was pretty delighted with them, but since they are pricey and dry out too quickly, even before the expiration dates, I decided to dupe them with some other product.

This is why I decided to use up the opened pots by Anastasia as quickly as possible and buy the NYX pomade, once it was promoted. I somehow knew that I would love it.

Unlike the ABH (which offers 11 shades to choose from) the NYX offers only 5 shades. But believe me, they are pretty enough even for professional use. Moreover, I guess it’ll be fair enough to say why I love the NYX pomade more than the ABH pomade: the NYX brand offers more cool-toned products, especially when it comes to the darkest shades, which makes the products adjustive to almost any hair color.

Since my natural hair is chestnut, I opted for the Brunette shade, which will be great for dark and chestnut hair.
The Espresso shade will be a perfect match for colored chestnut and natural brunettes. While Black is for those with truly black hair or those who like having their brows colored black.
Chocolate will be great for red-headed girls and those who have warm-toned hair colors. And of course the Blonde shade is for those with blond hair.

We’ve done the tones and undertones, so now it’s high time to pass over to the quality of the product, where I have nothing bad to say about.
Wear time: It’s excellent. The product stays on during the day and doesn’t get smudged. (of course if you don't rub your face with your fingers.) The color never loses its pigmentation and I can assure you that even in the pool, the pomade is still visible on my brows. When I wash off my makeup in the evening, I have to rub it with a makeup remover for quite a while, because the pomade won’t come off from regular hot water.

The product goes a long way. I guess it’ll be enough to use for another 6 months or so. Moreover, you can vary the color intensity, hence it’ll go even longer for you if you prefer natural-looking and subtle coverage on your brows.

Application. The application is soft and easy to blend out. Even if you have blond hair, you can still use my color of the pomade and fill in your eyebrows. It’s noteworthy that you should apply a little bit of the product and blend it out thoroughly.

And now the most important thing. Since I’m a natural-looking makeup junkie, I hate it when the brows look too defined and arched. This is why I always loved eyebrow powders, just because of the natural effect they give on my eyebrows. And the only thing that used to upset me with those powders was the shitty staying power they had. And the staying power isn’t actually a problem for this brow pomade at all.

Brow powder always gives a more subtle coverage in comparison with a brow pencil, for instance.

Brow pomade is a good in-betweener, I’d say. It beautifully holds my brow hairs, yet at the same time it doesn’t cover them with unnatural-looking film. The product is very easy to vary the color intensity with. It gives the maximum of the natural effect and doesn’t stick the hairs together. Plus, it’s super long wearing.

This is why I recommend this pomade for everybody who likes their brows more when they look darker and for those who are natural effect junkies and hate stickiness, which is such a big part of any brow gel.
