Today I’m reviewing the TOTAL CONTROL DROP FOUNDATION by NYX. It’s a liquid miracle in a bottle!
Packaging and price:
The product was packed in a sealed black cardboard box.
Size: 13 ml
This size is too small for a foundation product, I think.
Price: $14. This hefty sum of money is too much for that size.

The bottle is pleasant to the touch matte glass. It looks like an expensive high end good quality product.

I like the way it takes out the product but be careful not to get out too much.
Quality
The color range is huge. Since I ordered mine online, I had no opportunity to swatch it. I opted for the Vanilla shade, which matches my skin color beautifully. It doesn’t look yellow. For me it’s so natural-looking.
Only in summer when I’m tanned I won’t use it, but in general I’m delighted with it.
TOTAL CONTROL DROP FOUNDATION is very runny in consistency. I’ve never used such a textured product before. The texture is smooth, watery and well-pigmented. Be careful with the dropper when you’re just about to touch your face with it, since there’s a chance to drop the product somewhere undesirable.
A swatch on my hand: it feels pleasant and velvety.
This is how my skin looks without any make-up on.
I would advise you to apply this foundation with small portions on your face, otherwise it may travel down and stain.
Don’t even try to use a beautyblender to apply this foundation. It’ll sink in immediately. The same will happen if you use a Real Techniques sponge or any other densely packed foundation brush. Apply TOTAL CONTROL DROP FOUNDATION with your fingertips and it’ll be the best way.
Result:
In the photo you can see that the foundation concealed all my acne scars and evened out the skin color. It didn’t cover up my zits and pimples, but still they became less visible. The foundation lies well with no streaks or staining. It doesn’t tighten or dry out my skin.
The product is buildable, but still use a concealer to hide visible imperfections. This foundation blends wonderfully with any other foundation. So you can buy one more of a darker color to mix and get your ideal skin matching color foundation for summer, for example. I mixed it with a drop of BB cream by Clinique to get a perfect match.
Longevity. Since it’s summer now and I use a minimum of cosmetics to give my skin a chance to rest, I still used this product fully to test its longevity. For me it was good. It was hot outside, but the product stayed on and didn’t travel down. In winter it’ll stay even longer I presume.

TOTAL CONTROL DROP FOUNDATION turned out to be a good quality product for me. I can say that it is even worth the price tag so I won’t take away any stars for the stated above disadvantages.
