I’d like to show you a bold and ‘crazy’ shade for me. I don’t really know where I can wear it, as I neither do Halloween makeups nor participate in photoshoots.

This lipstick is a real babe for me. It comes in a stylish thin black tube. The writing doesn’t fade over time, which is characteristic of the NYX quality. On the tube you can find all the necessary information: ingredients, weight and shade.
The cap is transparent, so you can see the true shade. It closes tightly with a click.
It was initially packed in a protective film, as any other NYX product.
Shade: DAHLIA 9. I was afraid of this shade when I bought it. To be honest, I’m still afraid of this color.
The range is available in 22 colors, so every girl will find something for her.
The
stick twists up and back down. I try to twist up just a tiny bit when applying.
The length of the stick is 3 cm.
The stick is thin and has a slanted tip, which makes application easier.
The smell is nice and reminds me of the NYX Soft Matte Lipstick, which is almost the same. The scent is soft and creamy.
When I saw this shade, I thought: ‘Oh my God!’ I’ve never had such a ‘crazy’ color on my lips. I don’t know why I call it so. Only recently I managed to cope with my fear of wearing bright lipsticks, but now I have to get used to dark shades, too. Just look at this shade, it’s super glossy.
The texture is creamy and so soft, that it literally melts on my lips like ice-cream, especially in the sun.
My experience:
The dark shade of any product, be it eyeshadow, nail polish or lipstick is always hard to apply. Any blunder will be very noticeable, especially on your lips.
I would gladly use a lip pencil for that purpose, but I’ve never had such a bold color. So, I’ve decided to apply this lipstick without any lip pencil.
Surprisingly,
there was no need for a lip pencil. The slanted tip ensures an easy application. However, it’ll definitely be hard to make touch-ups on the go.
The lipstick is highly-pigmented. It covers up my natural lip color on the first try. The product literally glides over my lips.
I won’t recommend you layer it, because the lipstick won’t look that good after that. It starts getting patchy.
So, I usually try applying the shade in one coat.
It neither emphasizes peeling nor sets into lip lines. However, the pigment does stay in the lip lines after removal. More than that, the shade doesn’t flow.
The wear is good and I hardly feel it on my lips. The lipstick doesn’t dry out my lips or make them taut. It actually moisturizes them.
This bright gloss fades away in an hour. In 3 hours there is only a pigment left on your lips.
It can leave stains on the clothes and glasses.
Generally speaking, the shade DAHLIA 9 will definitely make you look like a vamp!
