Since makeup products started heaping up in my makeup bag really quickly, I began appreciating not only their good quality, but also their compact sizes.
Today I’d like to bring you my thoughts on the triple eyeshadow palettes from Smashbox that are both of good quality and great size.
Packaging: The products come in a rounded and sturdy packages that look like camera lenses. Such a pretty and fascinating design.
I have three eyeshadow palettes:
Tag Me is a red-brown palette.
Day Rate is silver-emerald-green palette.
Punked is a classy smokey eyes palette.
The colors of each palette are really well put together. However, there are not enough transition shades for me, which are however present in the other palettes like, for example, Nude Pink.
I have a good deal of various eyeshadows, so it’s not that big of a deal to find a shade to blend it out with.
In fact I love all Smashbox products and the Photo Edit palettes are no exception.
The eyeshadow is very soft and not dusty.
The metallics are silky smooth and very intense. The mattes are not that highly-pigmented. Therefore they are easier to work with. I mean it’s always easier to layer the product than blend it out.
It applies in a thick coat and streak-free. The blending process is effortless. It doesn’t leave any stains or sharp lines.
