Estee Lauder Double Wear is arguably the best selling product by the brand and the Holy Grail of many makeup artists. I knew that it’s a good foundation but at the same time I understood that I don’t need such a thick coverage as well as staying power. So, I was really looking forward to trying out the Double Wear Nude version.
Well, the foundation is housed in a glass matte bottle. No press pump provided. You can buy it separately but there are two issues here 1) price 2) and it’s difficult to find.
In general the packaging is also shitty as of one more of my favorite foundation by Tarte. The consistency of the Estee Lauder foundation is liquid and I’m afraid it’ll leak and stain everything, no matter if there’s a pump or not. But no matter the packaging I still love this product as well as Tarte foundation.

My color is the 2С1 Pure Beige - it’s an average light shade with warm undertones. There aren’t many shades to choose from in the collection but in general they all are rather wearable.
My impressions of use of the Estee Lauder Double Wear Nude Foundation. To put it short I can say that this is one of the best foundation products that I’ve tried.
Double Wear Nude is very lightweight. It applies veily and looks like my second skin. At the same time it covers up even red spots making my skin color evened out and ready to apply other to makeup.
The glow is here but it’s very delicate and subtle. My face doesn’t look dewy, on the contrary it looks healthy and refreshed.
Even if I don’t use special makeup primers beforehand, the product applies beautifully and doesn’t accentuate peeling or small creases which are such a constant occasion now in winter.

The wear time of this foundation on my skin is remarkably good. However, the product takes about an hour to set. But my powder helps to speed up this process. The SPF 30 makes this foundation perfect for summer as well.
Overall: Double Wear Nude is a fantastic foundation which is definitely worth its money.
