Mascara… It’s an essential product for those who have dull and gray natural eyelashes. It helps us to make them look better. A mascara is especially important for girls with short lashes who want to have a seductive look without breaking the bank...Wait! It seems that it doesn’t always happen so…
I’d like to share my thoughts on the hyped-up Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara:
I purchased this mascara in Rome hoping that this is the very mascara of my dreams. I thought I will finally get beautiful, long and voluminous lashes! However, I was so disappointed by this so-called high-end mascara… Anyway hope is still flickering in me and I think that I will get the hang of it one day, because this product is actually pricey. I bought it for 23 Euro.
So, first thing first:
Cons:
the mascara leaves behind a lot of fallout! Disgusting! This is the biggest drawback of ANY mascara! It can sometimes apply well, but as a rule it falls out even when I apply only the first coat. I think it’s a significant downside for a 23 Euro mascara, right?
It my opinion, the brush is so inconvenient. It picks up too much of the product, so my lashes look tawdry.
The texture is somewhat dry, although the product is not really dry.
Requires some skills, otherwise you get spider lashes…
Poor value for the money spent.
Requires more time to apply than in the case with ordinary mascara.
!!!!!! ATTENTION !!!!!! The mascara is not at all suitable for sensitive eyes and especially CONTACT LENS WEARERS! It falls out and then these crumples get into your eyes. As a result you get red and runny eyes. BE CAREFUL if you wear contact lens or better not use this mascara at all.
Transfers onto my eyelid even when I apply it extremely carefully…
The volume doesn’t last long and my lashes point downwards even when I curl them prior to applying the mascara.
Pros:
It lengthens my lashes and gives them incredible volume! It can make even the most unremarkable lashes fluffy and long. So, it does what it says on the tin.
If you are incredibly careful when applying, it can even separate your lashes and apply evenly in the first go.
The packaging and the tube are gorgeous and exceptional. I’ve never seen anything like that.

After I purchased this mascara, I decided to read some reviews about it and learnt that I was not the only one who had the same complaints…

I have dull and gray eyelashes as I’ve already wrote. I don’t dye them, because they fall out then… Therefore I prefer using a mascara than have no lashes at all 
Also, I’ve decided to make a comparison with an ordinary drugstore Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara. The difference is very clear at some points!
What was I comparing:
Brush, the amount of mascara, performance and the time it dries out.
My results:
In the first case Better Than Sex Mascara boosts volume in the first go provided you apply it extremely careful. Max Factor doesn’t enhance my lashes so well on the first try, but it colors them perfectly even if you apply it quickly and awkwardly.
Later I applied the second coat. In my opinion, the difference is hardly noticeable IN REALITY, especially when applying a very thick coat… Nevertheless, the Too Faced mascara looks darker and thicker, when comparing the two photos only.
Also,
Better Than Sex smudges and transfers onto my eyelid while
Max Factor has never had such an issue unless you literally dab the brush wand in your eyelid. Moreover, the latter leaves no clumps on my lashes, whereas the Too Faced does.

As far as you can see, the mascara did smudge my eyelid. So, I always have to correct it. Plus, it leaves behind a lot of fallout, which makes me feel uncomfortable and that is a bad thing…
In the end, I’d like to list the pros of this mascara also:
It makes my eyelashes look really voluminous! So, Better Than Sex mascara is perfect for photo shoots and pictures!

Girls, I can’t recommend this mascara for the reasons I’ve mentioned above. However, it’s up to you if it’s worth trying or not
On the one hand, it does what it promises and my lashes look amazing in photos, but on the other hand, it has plenty of drawbacks.
I bought this mascara a month ago and the texture is still the same, not dry.
