For a very long time, I wanted to buy these legendary eyeshadow palettes. After choosing for a long time, my first one was LORAC Pro. When I bought it, I gathered a small collection of the YouTube hits.
I also bought such palettes as Naked Basic 2, Naked 2 and Too Faced Chocolate Bar. And treated myself with a high end by Dior.
All the palettes are original, there aren’t any fake ones.
So, my review will be of the last purchase of mine
The packaging and the outer look:
When I opened it for the first time, of course, I felt that famous chocolate aroma, it was very cool, unusual and pleasant!
The packaging is stylish, unusual, metal and is in the shape of a chocolate bar. The only thing that I don’t like about this palette is that it doesn’t close up tightly. If you hold it upside down, it can pop open. Maybe that’s only mine, suffered while shipment, I don't know. Though, the palette looks okay, as it isn’t dented or scratched.
For the inside of the palette, I don’t have any questions. Everything there is of high quality. On the lid of the palette there’s a big and good mirror, but the lid can’t be fixed, it just opens and that’s all.
The palette was in a cardboard box, on the back of which there were all the colors and their names written.
Also, in the box there was a booklet with make-up looks to follow.
The eyeshadows are very beautiful and well pigmented.
I was stunned by the way they are blended! So easily, quickly and you can create a light smokey eye, but never put a stain with it! And even if you accidentally did it, then it could easily corrected - just blend it and that’s all.
There’s one color which was a bit difficult to make a good payoff with. It doesn’t give the bright milky shade, but just highlights a bit.
But maybe that’s for the best, in order not to make the whole lid white, but simply highlight it and blend the edges.
I can’t do professional make-up yet, I’m just learning. In general, I usually do light brown smokey eyes or darken the crease.
But still, I’ve tried to do the last evening make-up.
The red or rusty hues have never looked good on me, as they made my eyes look sad and cried out. But, I quite liked this make-up look.
I will try to do other make-up looks!
I hope you enjoyed my review!
