Hello beautiful ladies! Smile

Matte lipsticks are becoming more and more popular every year. And the variety of products and brands is becoming wider as well. So, Wet n Wild also caught up with the latest trends and offered us their matte lipsticks for $3-5!

The packaging is the simplest simple, no frills here. Just a usual plastic tube. The lettering doesn’t smear over time and the top caps sit rather tightly. BUT from the very beginning I’d like to pay your attention to one fundamental disadvantage of all the Wet n Wild lipsticks in this collection - the top cap is inconvenient and always touches the stick with the product, leaving marks on it.

Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Color is thick in consistency that really reminds me of a plasticine. At first it seemed weird to me but I quickly got used to it. While application, the stick of the lippie drags my skin a little and makes it difficult to contour my lips. But that’s not actually a big deal.

All the three colors in my collection are rather long-wearing and stay on for 5-6 hours. They fade gradually. They’ll live through a snack, though I’d advise you to remove the product from your lips if you are going to have a big meal.

What’s more, all the three lipsticks almost don’t dry out my lips, even though they claimed to be matte.

And now let’s have a closer look at each product separately.

E901B Think Pink is the palest one and the most controversial.

It’s a gentle barbie-pink color that, frankly speaking, doesn’t look good if worn solo.

It defines all the flaking and lip disadvantages. What’s more, it can roll up in the inside of my mouth.

I hardly ever wear this shade solo and usually prefer wearing it for ombre lips, pairing it with the Lime Crime Velvetines lipstick.

E912C In The Flesh is one of my faves when it comes to tanned nudes!

It’s a warm toned brown, so-called dark nude color. On the fair skin it may look too dark, but on tanned skin - oh, just awesome!

It applies evenly and doesn’t feather. It absolutely doesn’t dry out my lips, though the finish of this very shade isn’t matte but more soft satin.

E965 Cherry Picking it’s a real play of color and bright pigment on my lips!

It’s a bright cool-toned crimson shade that makes my teeth look whiter and tan more beautiful.

Applies and wears well but it’s a little bit more drying than the others. By the way, it leaves a bright staining pigment when it fades.

Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Color are great matte lipsticks. They do have their faults but the color array and wallet-friendly price make me forgive them everything!

Price: $3-5

Thanks for reading my post! Be always tuned and have a great shopping spree! Smile
