It’s been a while since I started writing about my lippie stash. And during the time that I was absent, it’s actually been filled with some new products, so I came back and will write some new reviews soon.
Today, we’ll speak about a very beautiful lipstick, which is relatively new in the market - Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick.
The design of the product makes me rave about it! Sleek, elegant and golden-black casing with the branded lettering on it. I have to highlight the aesthetic aspect as well - just look at all that mix of glossy gold and matte black color there.
The top cap closes tightly with a click. The plastic material is thick, good quality and it doesn’t scratch.

Shelf life - 24 months of opening.
I have to say that this lipstick is perfect not only in its design-wise appearance. There’s also an interesting thing about it, which makes me flabbergasted. Look at that diamond-shaped stick. Well, it isn’t the most convenient one to outline my lips with, however, it does catch the eye.
The lipstick offers a classy cream texture here, even though the finish is said to be matte. The pigmentation rocks my socks off - the product covers up my natural lip color on the first go!
It applies smoothly, patch-free, though it can define some flaking skin bits.
But, this is all due to that comfy formula that the coverage evens out on my lips within some time and all the flaking patches are not visible anymore. It doesn’t feather, budge or crease with a white film on my inner lip.
I feel very comfortable wearing it because my lips don’t feel dry or tightened.
The finish is more satin-matte, really beautiful and super noble. This is what a comfy lipstick should be like.
The staying power is about 5-7 hours. After that, the product starts leaving my lips delicately. NB! I’d like to recommend you washing it off from your lips before having a meal, though.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick offers 16 new shades. I think I have the most beautiful nude one, which is called
#17 "Nude Antonym."It’s a shade of ash rose with a beige undertone and rightly balanced brightness here. My lips look defined with it, yet not too all-the-attention-grabbing.
I wear this lipstick with great pleasure every day as well as for the parties.
And yeah, this is the lippie that collects the maximum of attention and compliments.
The formula is fantastic and the shade is even better!
The Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick is awesome! Starting with a gorgeous casing and finishing with a comfortable formula and long-lasting formula.
This YSL lipstick won me over as much as the lippie from Giorgio Armani did. Currently, this is my favorite nude lippie for all the occasions!
