You can’t ever get enough of nude lipsticks, especially when they are good ones! Today I want to share my thoughts on the Yves Saint Laurent Tatouage Couture Lip Stain.
The design is above all praises! The bottom part is of matte see-through plastic which has a see-through window as well. That is a feature of the brand. The plastic is of good quality and it doesn’t flake off or anything.
Size - 6ml.
Shelf life - 12 months.
Made in France.
Texture - it’s unique and branded. This product is rather liquid and matte. It applies with a thin layer but it nicely covers up my natural lip color. It somehow reminds me of the Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick, but that one is thicker in texture.
It applies easy-breezy and doesn’t streak or feather. One swipe already renders a good coverage but still remains buildable.
The finish can show off my flaking skin bits so make sure to prep your lips beforehand.
Like many other similar lip products, this one also has a handy applicator which is exclusive and liner-like. It’s super for outlining my lips with.
The Yves Saint Laurent Tatouage Couture collection of lip stains comes with a great variety of shades. I opted for a warm nude color #7.
This mixture of the formula and color looks adorable on my lips!
The product can stay up to 4-5 hours.
It vanishes smoothly (because of the shade) and it can barely live through fatty food. So, I advise you wiping it off before having a meal. It can be removed either with micellar water or wipes or with bi-phase makeup removers.
It does dry out my lips a little bit but this is not too critical.
Despite all my hatred to matte lipsticks, this one managed to become an exception, along with the Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick.
Yves Saint Laurent Tatouage Couture Lip Stain is a perfect matte lippie for everyone who loves such formulas. The consistency is awesome, the shade is nude and it’s always a pleasure to use it!
