Design:
The design is awesome. The casing is made of thick matte plastic, through which I can clearly see the shade. It has a golden applicator-cap. By the way, the applicator is so convenient to use. It has a slanted form for a more precise and comfortable application.
Smell:
There is no distinct smell, but I can feel something sweet.
The texture is peculiar and pretty liquid. It looks more like a lip tint than a lipstick.
Application:
I have no issues with the application process. The applicator wand is easy to use and the lipstick covers my lips very evenly.
I just need to touch my lips slightly with the applicator to get natural-looking lips. I make a dot on my upper and lower lip and blend it out with my fingertips or with a clean brush.
I love applying it this way, because the coverage is matte and semi-sheer. As a result my lips look natural yet fuller and a little brighter than usual. This is a sure daytime look for me.
The second way to use it is to apply the lipstick in two coats. It dries out in a few minutes and gives a weightless yet intense-pink coverage on my lips.
I use it this way less frequently, because I’m not actually a huge fan of such shades. I gravitate towards muted hues of pink. However, it’s nice to use in the evening.
The wear:
I don’t feel it on my lips after a while at all, even though I may have a few coats on. The coverage is really lightweight.
The lipstick applies evenly and non-streaky. It dries out quickly and makes my lips looking naked. The formula is not sticky and doesn’t transfer.
However, it doesn’t ensure this ‘tatouage’ effect as they say. The lipstick does smear everything, be it a coffee cup or my boyfriend whenever I apply a few coats.
Anyway, the lipstick is comfortable to wear and not-drying or tightening to my lips. I can feel some dryness only towards evening if I have it on all day long. However, it’s not the fault of this product. If I don’t use any nourishing lip care beforehand, my lips get dry on their own.
The staying power is good, but don’t expect any tatouage effect.
The lipstick doesn’t require any touch-ups after meals, although it may come off just a little bit. If you don’t eat anything, it wears very well, about 5 hours.
To sum up, I’d like to say that this product is my favorite so far. I would also like to pick up the shade No. 07 in the future.
The only thing is that this product is best suitable for warm weather, when you don’t need any additional moisture to your lips. In winter I prefer some nourishing products, because my lips can be extremely dry.
I highly recommend this lipstick. As far as I’m concerned the only thing I regret about this is that I haven’t purchased it earlier.
