I want to highlight that this product has really become a must-have for me, since only this past winter I discovered it, my skin felt good and looked beautiful. This was a breakthrough year for me, since I found the products that helped me to get rid of flaky skin and constant irritation in winter.
This facial soap is actually the first step of the 3-step cleansing system offered by the Clinique brand. They have different products to flatter all different skin types. The second step is exfoliating lotion and #3 is a moisturizer.
Clinique offers the same system for oily/combination and dry/combination skin types.

The bottle with the product is housed in a matte semi see-through plastic bottle of 200 ml.
There’s a press pump to get the product out, which also can be opened and closed easily to avoid accidental pop-ups.

The consistency is thick, lightweight and looks like a cream souffle.

Aroma: the product is fragrance-free, yet I still can make out some oily smell to it.

The ingredients are far from being called natural. But the brand doesn’t even pretend to be organic or anything. There are a lot of silicone components in the ingredients.
I appreciate that there are no perfume agents here. The olive fruit oil is one of the first ingredients and then there are a lot of wholesome extracts. I also paid attention to the Trehalose in the components list, since it has moisturizing and antioxidant properties. Here it’s used along with the derivative from hyaluronic acid, by the way. Both of these components aren’t toxic and really help the dry and taut skin become hydrated and moisturized.
♥ How to use ♥
With tepid water, lather soap between palms. Massage lather over face and throat. Rinse off. Pat skin dry. Use twice daily.
I use this product as recommended twice a day. I apply it over my wet skin and then massage it for a couple of minutes and then rinse off.
I have this product from the set of three and I used it along with my favorite facial cream by Uriage.
♥ My impressions of use ♥
I want to assess the product with 3 criteria - cleansing effect, moisture, price/quality correlation.
Cleansing effect: the product applies more like a souffle-cream, rather than soap. It doesn’t lather at all. And at first I even used to think that a usual water wash of my face would bring me the same results.
However, after washing off my cosmetics, I found out that the product works well and cleanses my skin nicely.
It rinses off completely and doesn’t leave any sticky feel behind, only a feeling of a pleasant lightweight cream or oil over my skin. And here, it’s noteworthy that all this residue sank in within 15 minutes after washing into my VERY dry skin. But if your skin is of normal type, or you prefer and like proper cleansing, then it’s unlikely that you’ll like this product.

Yet, at the same time, if we speak about hydration of my skin, I always used to experience a tightening sensation after the face wash which later could cause irritation and reddening of my skin. But after the purchase of this product I could see that my skin was normal and I think within a month it has started to look much better.
And even though everything seems to be fine about this product, I’m still a little bit disappointed with the price tag it has. However, you can sometimes find it discounted in stores.
I’m delighted with the product. And recollecting the more affordable facial cleansers that I used to have, I’ve been dreaming of having this one ever since. But still I presume that the price is too high for the product. One more flaw about this facial soap is that it doesn’t lather, hence it has huge spending. If I use this cleanser daily, the bottle is enough to use for about 2 months.
♥ Overall ♥
The Clinique Liquid Facial Soap is an excellent cleanser which helps me maintain the beauty and health of my dry skin, giving it proper moisture and hydration.
It’s my go-to product in winter, and I also hope to use it along with the other two products from the collection.
To the downsides I can list the price and huge spending. However, since I tried a lot of ineffective affordable cleansers which lie somewhere about my house and I don’t use them, it’s better to pay more once and buy this cleanser and keep on using it with huge pleasure. And yeah, the most important thing is that me and my skin now love and enjoy winter times
