Hello everybody!
I received the mini-sized packaging of Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief of 7 ml when I attended the Clinique presentation. They also presented me with a lip gloss
The SA told a few words about this product and also explained that it can be used not only for face but also for some other body parts, which ones? I’ll tell you in my review
General information about the product:
- Made in Great Britain
- Size: 7, 15, 30 and 50 ml.
- Price: $12 - 39, depending on the size
- Expiration date: within 2 years
DESIGN:
The design is simple and neat. A see-through jar with a screw-on top.
I find it really great that the product comes in different sizes. You can always get a sachet for purchase or buy a 15 ml jar for $12 to try out. I think that this cream is the most affordable in Clinique brand. There’s some information about the product on the jar.
Inside the box there was a flyer with some more product details:
INGREDIENTS:SCENT
The product doesn’t have any outstanding scent, but at the same time I can’t say that the product is unscented. It isn’t off putting, no. It’s light, pleasant and I don’t feel it on my skin.
TEXTURE AND COLOR
The product is so lightweight that it even seems weightless. Texture-wise it’s really something between cream and gel.
Once I apply it onto my skin it starts melting.
The product is of beige color.
USE:
And here the most interesting part begins! During the presentation they told us where to apply this product besides our face
1. Rub into cuticles. Honestly, I haven’t tried to do that, since the product is pricey, I can’t afford to waste it on my cuticles. But in theory I understand that moisture of the cuticles is an essential part of hand care.
2. To shape your brows. Yes, they say that if you have unruly brows you should “moist” them with this gel and they’ll be put in place where you need As for me, I apply this gel on my brows only when I apply it all over my face. But I never apply it onto my brows intentionally.
3. To discipline your hair. If I took it right, this will work only with short hair. If your hair is sticking out or fizzy, you can moist it with this product and it’ll look way better. I haven’t tried to do so as my hair is long and I don’t have any significant problems with it.
4. As foundation primer. It’s a great advantage if the cream works well as a primer. And this gel-cream is amazing as primer. My foundation applies evenly and beautifully over it.
Actually, there were some more uses of this product announced, but I forgot them, sorry
For me this product is a
great facial cream that doesn't clog my pores. I apply it overnight during summertime.
RESULT
Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief made me fall for it at the first use. The thing is that in summer my pores are highly prone to clogging and almost any cream clogs then turning my face into a crowd of blackheads which looks awful, I should admit.
Before going to bed I cleanse my skin, use peelings, cleansing masks and scrubs. After all these procedures, I can see that my pores are clean but in the morning I can see that some creams have clogged them again.
But not this one. My skin will be clean and beautiful if I apply Moisture Surge overnight.
And that’s the most important advantage for me. What’s more, this product gives my skin a good portion of moisture and I’m more than happy about it
OVERALL:
I like Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief very much, even though I use it only on my face. Of course I do recommend it!
