Hello!
I want to share my thoughts with you on a very interesting purchase of mine. I’ve never been too much obsessed with my lip care before. But this winter when it became cold outside, my lips became tightened and dry. At that time I accidentally saw a review of this Studio Lip Exfoliator by E.L.F. and decided to buy one for myself too.

Product characteristics:
Price: $3
Size: 4.4g
Expires within 12 months after opening
Made in China
Manufactured in the USA.
I was a little bit upset when I found out that the product was made in China, though the most important is the result.
Scent: pleasant, unobtrusive and coffee-like.
Consistency: it’s a solid stick lips exfoliator. It reminds me of a mixture of a lip balm and sand or brown sugar.
I find the form of the product really handy, as I don’t like dipping my fingers into lip products.
Product description:
Gently exfoliate lips to remove dry, chapped skin with the e.l.f. Cosmetics Lip Exfoliator! A sweet sugar and smoothing sensation, infused with Vitamin E, Shea butter, avocado, grape and jojoba oils to nourish and protect. This Lip Exfoliator treats and smoothes lips for a conditioned and revitalized feel.
Why did I decided to buy this lip exfoliator? Recently my lips have become super tightened and I always have a desire to lick them. They feel dry from time to time too.
I find this product a must for winter time.
Ingredients:
Infused with Vitamin E Shea Butter, Avocado Grape and Jojoba Oil to nourish and protect.
Sucrose, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, persea gratissima (avocado) oil, ozokerite, fragrance (parfum), synthetic candelilla wax, copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, tocopheryl acetate (Ve)
I found 2 bad ingredients in the list:
- fragrance. But if the fragrance if is natural, then I have nothing to say against it.
- ozokerite. It’s a coagulant which may irritate skin. I guess that thanks to this ingredient the scrub has its stick shape.
How to use:
Apply to clean, damp lips and massage in a circular motion to exfoliate. Use a moistened cotton pad with water to gently wipe away scrub. Follow with a lip balm or gloss to condition.
I usually use it the following way. I wet the product with water a little bit and then massage my lips with the stick. In this photo you can see that my lips skin is tightened.
I want to highlight that I saw the result on my lips after the first use already. Straight after the application I felt that my lips were smooth. The tightening disappeared, though not for long. Each time using the product I can feel that my lips become less and less tightened.
After exfoliating there are small granules from the stick left on my lips.
This lips exfoliator accompanied with a good lip balm work wonders for my lips in winter. I think it’s a must for this time of year.
The product goes a long way. I think it’ll go for more than 6 months for me, or even longer.
I recommend Studio Lip Exfoliator by E.L.F.
