Hey everyone!

I’ve been using Korean cosmetic products for a year now. And I’ve been lucky - all the treatments I used were suitable for my quite problematic skin. I thought Koreans were magicians, but this cream brought me down.

So I want to tell you about it.

Are you ready? Let’s go!

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Watery Cream

Price: $16.90

Volume: 80 ml.

Country of origin: South Korea

There are three creams in the line, which are designed for different skin types.

My skin is combination.Product details:

Ingredients:There are so many ingredients in this list! Some may think it’s a plus, so many valuable components blah-blah-blah. But I think it’s rather a minus, because it’s hard to understand (which of the ingredients you are over-sensitive to, etc). Besides, the cream contains many silicones.

The cream is neatly packaged, there is nothing to quibble over.

Beautiful box.

There’s even a list of ingredients in English

The glass jar itself is cute too. The lid is quite unusual.

There is a protective membrane with the brand logo

There is even a little spatula!

But we don’t judge the book by its cover. The content is much more important.

Color and formula:

The cream is pretty lightweight and easy to apply. A little bit goes a long way. It’s like with hair masks which contain silicones - you only need a pea-sized amount to cover your hair.

Color: white, with a bit of blue

Scent:

The smell is so pleasant and flowery! I would gladly buy a perfume which smells like this. But for a face cream, the fragrance is too overwhelming. It should be more neutral. Besides, it lasts on my skin for a few hours and therefore annoys me. So I take a star off.

My experience with Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream:I have expected a moisturizing effect from the moisturizing cream. It makes sense, or doesn’t it?

Plus, my skin is combination. It doesn’t need too much moisture.

But does it work?

In fact, the result is exactly opposite.

First I’ll show you its formula and absorbability.

It resembles a hair conditioner, in my opinion.

I’ve spread the cream all over my skin. I’m not sure if the effect is visible in the photo, but my skin is more moisturized than matte!

Now about the effect.

The cream builds a film on my skin. I can feel it throughout the whole day and can’t wait to wash it off!

Even with BB creams my skin feels better!

I haven’t expected that from a Korean moisturizer!

It mattifies my skin and feels like a primer, making the skin surface smooth and pleasant to the touch (but don’t forget about silicones)!

The most unpleasant part about this cream is that it clogs my pores two or three days after first application.

I didn't got any real moisture from it. The smoothness is washed away with this cream. So the effect is deceiving. I had to wash it off both with cleansing oil and face foam in order to feel my skin clean again.

Conclusion: this cream doesn’t suit my skin, as it turned out, and I don’t see why I should give it 2 stars instead of one. Not recommended.
