I live in the north, so you can imagine how dry my skin is and how much it needs nourishing and moisture.
So, today, I want to tell you about the Weleda Skin Food Cream.
I ordered it, and hadn’t read any reviews before. Only after I ordered it, I knew that this is many Hollywood celebrities’ favorite cream. Well, I was ready to use it. I was really impressed by the cream’s promises.

The cream is packed in an aluminium tube, which makes it so beautiful. I like Weleda’s design, as for me, their tubes look amazing.
I have no difficulties unscrewing the top cap. The cream comes out in the right amount that you’ll need, as there are also no difficulties pressing the tube.
The consistency of the cream is very thick, I immediately understood that the cream is nourishing and restoring. At first, I was a little bit worried that the cream would be difficult to apply and spread on the skin, but no. It was very easy to apply on the skin. It’s very important thing for me not to stretch my skin on the face, as this cream is also suitable for facial care, remember?
The cream has a rather standard scent and it’s not at all off-putting. I can’t associate it with anything, as there’s no fragrance left on my skin, straight after the application.
And now, I want to tell you about the way I use it. I use it a lot and almost everywhere!
- My hands, nails and cuticle.
It’s the most standard way to use this cream, I think. Every evening I apply a sufficient amount of the cream on my hands, paying special attention to my cuticle and nails. It may take quite a while for the cream to soak in, but it actually doesn’t matter for me, as it’s my nightly care routine.
I also want to say here, that my hands’ skin and cuticle is problematic and this cream works wonders with it. It gives them needed moisture and nourishment. In the morning my skin looks restores and moisturized.
- Facial nourishing and restoring
My face skin is no less problematic compared with my hands. It’s very dry, sensitive but at the same time, my T-zone is oily and I sometimes have acne there.
I don’t use this cream every day for my face, as there’s just no need to do so. I use it only when my skin is parched or after I visited the solarium. This cream restores my skin very quickly giving it a comforting feeling. I’m also sure that, if you want to get a beautiful sun tan, then you should nourish and restore your skin straight after sunbathing.
This is one more thing I do every day. Why not to apply such a rich and thick cream on my lips? The cream nourishes them well, restores and in the morning my lips look smooth and beautiful.
It works wonders! Really! I sometimes apply this cream onto my feet and toes (twice a week after I do a pedicure). I also tried to apply it after the epilation (in 6-8 hours after) and again, the cream deeply nourished and restored the irritated skin.
I’ve tried this product as a body cream just a couple of times, and I didn’t like it. It was probably because of the fact that I don’t want to waste such a precious cream on my body, as I have many other great products for it. But as for hands, lips and feet, the cream is wonderful. It suits me perfectly well.
