Hello everyone,
I’d like to tell you about my experience with L'oreal Excellence Creme. Earlier I’ve been coloring my hair with different techniques at beauty salon. The shade was very light then, but after a while the hint of yellow appeared there, as it is always the case with light dyed hair.
I’ve decided to change the look and become more natural again. But that is where things went wrong. I was dead sure that it was too hard to color the hair from dark to light, but it turned out to be different.
Initially I’d colored my hair at home, but the light deep roots were still visible. As a consequence I decided to visit my colorist. How surprised I was when a professional hair color couldn’t remove it too.
I’ve taken maternity leave and now when it’s already warm outside I’ve decided to change something on my head ASAP. I bought L'oreal hair dye in the shade 7.1 Dark ash blonde.
My initial color: deep roots + hair color from the salon + yellow tips.
Hair type: dry
My hair before coloring:
What is in the box:
In addition, you need an old comb for sectioning the strands.
In the first place, you should apply the protective serum to the dry and unwashed hair. Do not dry out or wash hair after the application!
Next mix the developer and creme colourant in the bottle, which is very convenient, because you don’t have to use any bowls.
Before opening the bottle, snap the tip. Otherwise the product may splash due to the chemical reaction!
Then replace the tip with a comb applicator and apply the product to your hair.
My hair right after application:
Wait 30 minutes.
My hair in 30 minutes after application:
The manufacturer recommends to wait 30 minutes, but given that my previous experience failed, I applied the hair dye for 50 mins to my hair.
My hair after rinsing off:
That’s how my hair looks after I let it dry out naturally without any hair dryer.
The result without styling my hair:
The result after styling my hair.
My hair is bright and intense without any yellow tips. The color looks different from light to dark ash blonde according to the light you are under.
The product is decent and can conquer your yellow tips even if a professional hair color couldn’t do that.
The result corresponds to the description, but not the packaging, as there is ash blonde with golden tint on it.
P.S. Keep the packaging so you don't forget the number of the color.
