My color is Devoted. It’s the hero of my review:) It’s really bright and delicious. It isn’t for everyday wear, but actually, I do wear it quite often:)
The moment I was choosing a lipstick, I didn’t want a nude color:) That’s why I really want to buy the Charming color next.
The design is in The Balm style - it also has a pin-up with an american retro image.
The applicator is very convenient, I can apply the lipstick even without a lip liner.
The lipstick is well-pigmented and applies well without any patches (I’m talking only about this color, you know that different colors in the same line might have different quality) Straight after the application there’s a soft cooling minty effect, and after it disappears, I don’t feel the lipstick on my lips at all. It won’t live through a full-course meal, but I don’t actually need that. But, as for snacks, here yes, the product will stay on well. After a meal, you can touch-up one more layer and it’ll look decent too.
The Balm brand is cruelty-free and there are no parabens in the ingredients, which is very pleasant:)
You know it for sure that before the application of the matte lipstick, you should take care of your lips. They should be moisturized. I don’t know any matte lipstick which would look well on dry and chapped lips.
This lipstick dries my lips, but not very much, actually, in comparison with all others matte lipsticks that I have.
