Hello dear ladies!
Do you like glow as much as I love it? The so trendy word combination “glow from within skin” is about me. I can’t imagine my life without a good highlighter or shimmering skin perfector.
And in this review I’m going to speak about the Amethyst, not about stone, don’t worry, but about an iridescent highlighter by the American brand Becca.
The holographic packaging somehow hints us that the product inside will be truly iridescent. The compact with the highlighter is metallic and heavy. It looks almost the same as the other shades of the highlighter, with the only difference in the color of the compact. It opens 180 degrees, which I find very convenient. Inside they have included a small mirror. The highlight is of 8g.
In life it looks better than in the pictures. I took all the shots on my phone so the quality might be a little bit shitty.
But believe me, in life the product looks phenomenal, it really looks like a gem. It shines from purple shades to a tender baby pink color. Sometimes when I look at this highlighter in the sun I can see colors that I’ve never seen before and have no idea how to describe them. This feature distinguishes it from any others. It’s complicated, expensive-looking and tremendously beautiful.
You may ask me “When and where should we wear this highlighter?” and I’ll answer “All the time for any occasion”. Undoubtedly it is bright but it’s delicate at the same time. If you swatch it in the store before the purchase, you’ll see how complicated the product is. And don’t apply it much and this comes not only to this but to any highlighter and you really will get that noble looking blur skin effect.
