Recently I bought a set of mini lipsticks by Huda Beauty. There were Heartbreaker, Material Girl, Showgirl and Famous colors.
1. Hearbreaker
It’s the classical red with cool undertones. If you’re on a lookout for your ideal red lipstick, then here it is. It applies beautifully, gives no patches and felt as a comfort creamy stick lipstick. It has a gorgeous velvet finish. My true love!
2. Material Girl
It’s a deep plum color. I was hoping so much that it would be flawless, but no. It’s very patchy and is impossible to apply evenly. But at the same time, this color is easy to layer. It’ll never make your lips tightened or dry. Ultimately, the look seemed okay:
3. Showgirl
The only metallic in the collection. It’s a pink color on a red base. It looks beautiful and unusual. I can’t say that its characteristics are great, as it applies unevenly. But the finish hides all the imperfections of the color:
4. Famous
It’s a red-brown burgundy, which I love so much. Its characteristics are the same as the Material Girl, although it’s even more patchy, I’d say. You need to try hard to apply it evenly. It also looks great in total, but if you look closer, it’s awful.
Swatches:
My overall view of the 4 colors of Huda Beauty is the following: all the colors have velvet finish, you’ll never have any tightening or drying feelings on your lips while wearing them. They last for 7-8 hours and won’t budge even if you eat greasy food.
I also think the quality depends on the color. All beige, pink-hued and nude ones will be great. As for the rest - I don’t know, try your luck.
