The more liquid matte lipsticks don’t suit me, the more I do really fall for the ARTIST LIQUID MATTE by MAKE UP FOR EVER.
I have a mini of the product but since I don’t rave about nude shades, I guess it’ll go a very long way with me. It’s long-wearing, comfortable and beautiful.

Product description:
Finally, a comfortable liquid lipstick with intense color in an ultra-matte finish. With concentrated pigments, Artist Liquid Matte provides truly matte, saturated color payoff with a lightweight feel. Its unique formula boasts beeswax for long-lasting wear and avocado oil for soft, nourished lips. It's an ultra-matte, liquid lipstick with high color payoff and 20-hour, comfortable wear. Its precise applicator coats and defines every peak and valley of your lips to perfection.
Outer look and consistency:
The outer appearance of the mini and full sized lipstick is the same. There’s an inside stopper yet I don’t think it works well, as I always have too much of the product sitting on the wand. The sponge is very convenient to use, as I can easy contour my lips with it. During application the lipstick feels as though made of water, as it’s runny but not at all finicky at the same time. The product doesn’t feather or budge. Any mistakes can be easily corrected.

Impressions of use:
The lipstick is nice to layer. It dries down quickly offering a stunning color payoff. As with other matte liquid lipsticks, this one shows my skin relief and creases but it isn’t such a big problem for me. It may feel as though that the lipstick is a tad drying to my lips but take my word, I don't feel it on my lips at all. The wear time is fantastic and it washes off only with duo-phase makeup removers or with oil infused products. I really like how pouty and full my lips look with this lippie on. The #105 shade is really unique and interesting. It looks delicate in comparison with the same shades by other brands, though it has a hint of pink-lilac color, which many other lipsticks definitely lack. I can’t say that it’s a go-to lipstick for everyday wear. No, I think it’s for making your look brighter and more interesting. If you don’t have any strict dress code rules at work, then you can easily wear it for the office, why not? All in all I saw 6 shades from the collection and each of them had either beige or pink undertones. And yes, the color looks darker on the lips.

The more nude matte liquid lipsticks I meet, the more I get persuaded that matte textures can be comfortable to wear. I guess I need a couple of more shades from this line and I’ll be utterly happy!
