Hello pretties!...
Today I want to share my impressions of a liquid matte lipstick by the Make Up For Ever brand.
It’s was released relatively recently, last fall if I’m not mistaken.
Shade: 103 Warm Beige
Size: 2.5 ml
Scent: the product has some scent to it. The smell is cosmetic and I wouldn't say that it’s pleasant to my nose. In general, the scent of the product is a disadvantage for me.
Package: (Is there anybody who really wants to know it?) The see-through tube retails in a branded package.
Sponge/applicator: it’s convenient and I like it. The only thing that I don’t like is that there’s always too much of the product left on the wand. Does it mean that the stopper is crap? There isn’t too much of the content in the tube, you know, and I don’t want to waste it with the wand.
*By the way, the lipstick closes with a click which is so thought-out, well done, guys!
Swatch/shade: As for the shade - it’s the perfect nude color for me! It’s such a beigy-peach color with a tad of pink hue, just perfection! This is really “my lips but better” kinda shade for me.
Formula/texture: it’s creamy and thick.
Comparison: I’ve got almost the same color of the lipstick by Anastasia Beverly Hills in the color Stripped. If we compare them, the MUFE product has some more brown hue to the formula. Even though this color was chosen from the other 50 shades of nude. LOL.
The MUFE is upper and ABH is lower
Finish: It’s matte and lively, not so dry as of the Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Application: The product doesn’t apply streaky and I can easily control the lipstick and touch-up within a minute as after that time it’ll dry down completely. After that I prefer to blot my lips with a tissue. This time I blotted them too quickly and you can see a small stain in the photo.
Staying power: It’s superb! The lipstick holds up for 5 or 6 hours and then starts fading from the inside of my mouth. I guess it’s because of me talking too much. The product easily lives through a bite and I like the way it fades as it’s almost of my natural lip color, so the fading is barely noticeable.
Impressions of use and comfort: As with other matte liquid lipsticks, I can feel this one present on my lips, but I can’t say that it’s distracting or anything. I love it for its texture and I can say that it doesn’t dry out my lips too much. I’ve gotten used to it very quickly (all my lipsticks are matte, indeed). After all, I can say that my lips are never dry as I use lip balms. This is why liquid matte lipsticks are my passion.
Overall: If you’re a fan of liquid lipsticks, you’ll definitely love this one.
